04 - Caverns

Aug 17, 2009 19:59

I've discovered an interesting deck. 15. Rather pretty caverns, good fishing, even a little library. Very relaxing.

[Sound of crackling fire in the background. It sounds like a little campfire.]

The best food is the kind you hunt yourself, I always say. It's just too bad there isn't many places you can hunt. I sure miss the rolling plains of ( Read more... )

[Thankfully that rage has worn off; Rea can actually think about things other then killing, and fishing's always been entertaining.]

Fishing? Sounds like fun! How big are the caverns down there?

Quite big! The water gets pretty deep in spots, too.

Guess this boat has everything, eh? Mind some company?

Not at all!

[Pause. It's likely this person is a human being.]

Oh. I should warn you ahead of time.. I'm a female minotaur. I just don't want you to be surprised when you see me.

Yay! On my way, then.

[The lycan simply laughs a little.]

Don't worry about it, I'm not exactly human myself~

Oh, okay! I've gotten some odd stares here and there, so just wanted to make sure.

[Kiaran casts her fishing line into the water again with a light *plop*]

Can't say I blame you, considering there's mainly humans here, but I promise you'll be getting no stares from me~!

[Rea's in the elevator now, almost there. She's in half-form - wolf ears and tail out and twitching- if only to prove she really isn't human. Lycan's tend to blend in a bit~]

Ah! Pardon my forgetfulness, but I haven't introduced myself, have I? Names Sarea, nice t'meetcha!

I am Kiaran Whitehoof, a tauren. I look forward to meeting you.

[Kiaran smiles a little to herself. To have allies lightens the heart, and she needs to relax after that horrible bout of anger and passion she suffered from.]

[Ding! The elevator reaches the proper deck and the lycan hops out, looking around. Woooooo, this deck is nice! She can't quiiiite see her new friend though, so she keeps her ears pricked for any sounds.]

Kiaraaaaaaan?

[Kiaran's soft ears perk as she hears a voice echo through the caverns. She yells out.]

I'm over here!

[The lycans ears perk and she follows the sound, loping over the rocks. Ahah, there she is! Rea grins brightly as she approaches, waving.]

Hey! Found you.

Greetings.

[Kiaran wasn't too surprised by this stranger's appearance. Azeroth had a vast array of species.]

So what are you, if you don't mind me asking?

[She's safe- most breeders are human anyways- so Rea grins a little and rocks back on her heals, not at all phased.]

A Lycan; a werewolf, sort of.

[Kevas didn't know what either were, so she's not sure if Kiaran will either.]

Shape-shifter.

[Kiaran smiled. Another shape-shifter. She didn't suppose that Sarea was taught this skill as she appeared to already be a hybrid.]

I am a druid. We are taught how to protect nature by using its power. I can take on the forms of several creatures.. though on this boat, not until I wish to change back. It only lasts about five minutes...

Druid? I've heard of those- quite the interesting people, so they say, though I've never met any back home.

[Bliiiink. The wolfs a bit surprised by that.]

Really? I'm the opposite, then. Normally when I change, I'm just a little tired. Here? Exhausted, and I'm stuck in one form for a good number of hours once I've changed!

It sounds like your world shares some same elements as mine. What are the druids like in your world?

[She feels a tug on the line. She tries to reel it in. She almost thinks she can hear a voice..]
