Kites and Coffee.
I finally got a power kite this week. A 3.0m2 Radsail. Was out flying it wednesday and yesterday. It's really cool. Doesn't do much at the moment other than pull you around and ocasionally pick you up and throw you down again. But it's a lot of fun. Soon, I will get a mountainboard and go trundling off around the Knavesmire on it. Only problem is, I now keep checking the wind every 5 minutes to see if I'm missing anything good. *sigh*
In other news, I found out that you can roast coffee in a hot air popcorn maker. So I duly acquired a popcorn maker (from Jennie), a coffee grinder and some green coffee. This morning, I had coffee which had been roasted and ground within the last hour. It was rocket fuel. But very nice. And green coffee is cheap (about 1/2 price of roasted). And it keeps for years. woo.
