a long way gone- ishmeal beah, this book is realllly good, about a boy solider in Sierre Leon. Then another good book is A River of No Return by Cleavland Sellers. Is about the civil rights and his life through SNCC and civil rights.

my mom gave it to me and i didn't think i was going to like it but i really really enjoyed it. makes you think how you treat people and how the impact you have on them.
