Covering the Bases
Part Twenty-Seven - In Need of a Pinch Hitter!
Yuuri - *laughs a bit, but sadly, realizing he was really missing Wolfram at the moment* "Sorry... I'm making things weird again, aren't I?"
Iris - *shakes her head slowly* "No, I... I suppose I just don't know very much of what's happened since I was... taken..."
Yuuri - *shakes his head again* "Don't worry, you're only about... six days late for all this news..."
Iris - *curious again/quietly, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye, trying not to look too interested in his business* "... really?"
Yuuri - *smiles at her, not wanting her to feel strange about anything* "Yup. It was only six days ago that I realized and confessed my undying love." *pauses, grinning a bit wider* "Sounds kinda cheesy, doesn't it?"
Iris - "Uhh..." *doesn't really know what to say about that/six days? that's all?* "So you and Lord Wolfram... tried to elope?" *already knew the answer to that, just couldn't really grasp the concept of why they would do it if it's only been six days*
Yuuri - *still grinning* "Yup. Crazy, huh?"
Iris - "And you couldn't...?"
Yuuri - *continues to grin* "Nope. The Church was mad at us and turned us away. I guess that's what I get for being stupid."
Iris - *looks more curious, and even a little confused* "But... you're such a good king... you've done so much for the world... why would they turn you away just because you ran away for a week?"
Yuuri - *his grin fades a bit, watching her/flushing at her words* "I... thanks... But, apparently that's not how things work... They told us to go back to the palace and do it properly... That way I could still be working..." *pauses to laugh lightly* "I really hate paperwork..."
Iris - *still confused* "You don't have advisors to take care of those sorts of things for you while you're away?"
Yuuri - *looks up at the ceiling a bit* "That was the idea... Although, they didn't know they'd have to do that when we made a run for it..." *grins again* "I guess they don't want me to get lazy."
Iris - "Oh..." *picks at the bed sheets again/still a little confused as to why they'd be turned away for something like that, though she suspected it was different for someone of such a high rank... and The Church could be funny like that sometimes...* "Usually people aren't turned away unless..." *flushes again, and feels ashamed for even thinking such a thing* "Not... not that I'm suggesting that Lord Wolfram could... I mean... I'm sure he's a proper gentleman, and..."
Yuuri - *smiles at her again, not really wanting her to continue thinking in the direction she was headed* "Nope. They wouldn't even let us in the building. Just slammed the doors in our faces and told us to go home. Crazy bunch of people, but I guess I can't really blame them. They've just got the kingdom's best interests at heart."
Iris - "I suppose..." *feels even more awkward now... and stupid... and really unworthy of being in his presence*
Yuuri - *blinks curiously at her before sighing again/why must people feel weird around him? he was just like everyone else... only... he had some weird demon powers... and was picked by some dead guy to be king*
Iris - *falls silent, figuring it would be best for her to just shut up and let the poor guy get some rest*
Yuuri - *doesn't really know what to say to her/can feel the tension in the air*
Iris - "Ummm..." *looks at him nervously* "Maybe... you should get some sleep, Your Majesty..."
Yuuri - *pouts a bit* "You too..."
Iris - *flushes a bit and looks away again/he looked... cute* "Uhh... well... I will... I guess..."
Yuuri - *continues to pout/not really liking that she felt weird around him* "You guess...?"
Iris - "I mean... I suppose... I mean... I will..." *and the feeling of being stupid just continues to increase* "I will..."
Yuuri - *grins/relieved* "Good..."
Iris - *looks at him out of the corner of her eye again/how could he possibly be so nice to someone he'd only just met?*
Yuuri - *watches her curiously, not really knowing what to say/pauses for a long moment* "Thank you..."
Iris - *shakes her head* "You shouldn't thank me, Your Majesty."
Yuuri - *shakes his head as well* "You saved my life..."
Iris - "I... it's what anyone would have done, really..." *doesn't want to say that Owen had pretty much ordered her to, though she would have done it anyway*
Yuuri - *shakes his head again* "Nope. You were the one who saved me... So you at the very least deserve my thanks..." *pauses, smiling again* "If I had died that easily, Wolfram would have killed me."
Iris - *nods at his statement, though she doesn't reply/talking about Wolfram so much made her feel weird*
Yuuri - *sighs again, closing his eyes/didn't really realize he was so tired, although, being completely drained of energy, as well as the loss of blood, might have something to do with it*
Iris - *turns back to looking at him again* "You should sleep, Your Majesty. You'll feel a little better and be a little more clear headed tomorrow."
Yuuri - *smiles, though keeps his eyes closed* "I hope so... I'm gonna give those jerks a piece of my mind."
Iris - *says nothing against that, though she highly doubts he'll be able to do much more than shout at them in his condition, and even then he shouldn't get himself so worked up*
Yuuri - *continues to smile at her* "You should get some sleep too... We're breaking out as soon as I find a way to do so..."
Iris - *smiles sadly, but can't say anything to ruin his optimism/fails to let him know that she's already tried to escape multiple times before*
Yuuri - *smiles a little wider, keeping his eyes shut/wanted to make sure she actually slept on the bed and not the floor* "Now... go to sleep, okay?"
Iris - *nods, even though he can't see it/moves around a bit to get comfortable, laying on her side and facing him*
Yuuri - *doesn't move, just forces himself to stay conscious long enough to make sure she went to sleep*
Iris - *whispers quietly* "Good night, Your Majesty."
Yuuri - *whispers back* "Good night, Iris..."
Iris - *doesn't close her eyes, merely continues to watch him*
Yuuri - *ends up falling asleep without knowing if the girl stayed on the bed or not/ends up crying silently while he slept, having reoccurring nightmares about Wolfram and how he couldn't do anything to help*
Iris - *watches him for a few hours, unconsciously moving just a bit closer to him, wiping the silent tears away with a gentle hand*
Yuuri - *doesn't even notice her presence as he sleeps, just knows that he felt extremely lonely without the blond with him*
Iris - *sighs to herself, feeling foolish again, eventually closing her eyes and tumbling off to sleep as well*
----------
Wolfram - *elsewhere, in the tiny little inn they'd arrived at after Yuuri's abduction, Wolfram sleeps through the whole night without waking again/around sunrise, his eyes finally begin to flutter open/he groans, feeling a throbbing pain in his head still, though he's much more aware and no longer delirious/once he has his eyes open, he looks around in confusion, having no memory of what had happened since the moment of the bandit attack and Yuuri's transformation/scans the strange room, glancing around at the others*
Hale - *fast asleep in one of the chairs that were pulled up next the other bed*
Jade - *sleeping as well, though apparently crying a bit in her sleep as well/had been given the entire other bed with the insistence of her brother*
Murata - *sitting in a chair by Wolfram's bedside, hunched over with his head resting against the mattress/his hand is still close to one of the blond's, though no longer holding it*
Yozak - *remained in his spot against the wall, though he had slid to the ground to sit and lean against it, snoring lightly as he slept*
Conrart - *had also fallen asleep in the chair next to Wolfram's bed, but unlike Murata, had remained sitting up*
Wolfram - *looks at them all strangely, edging away from the sage a bit/wonders what in the world Conrart and Yozak were doing there/it doesn't take him long at all to realize that Yuuri's missing/quickly sits up in the bed, ignoring the pain and the sudden burst of nausea, looking around in the hopes of seeing him somewhere/calls out to him* "Yuuri!"
Conrart - *easily wakes up from his light slumber, watching his brother with worry/doesn't really know how to explain what had happened, mostly because he only knew what he'd been told*
Jade - *stirs a bit at the sudden yell/blinks a bit, sitting up slowly, though making sure she was still close to her brother*
Hale - *blinks awake as well*
Murata - *slowly stirs, sitting himself back up in the chair as he yawned and rubbed the sleep from his eyes*
Yozak - *is immediately on alert at the sound of Wolfram's voice, snapping awake and jumping to his feet*
Wolfram - *continues to look around, panicking when he can't see Yuuri anywhere/turns to his brother* "Where's Yuuri?" *his breathing becomes irregular as he starts to think that something had happened to him*
Conrart - *frowns/not sure if he should be the one to break the news to him* "You shouldn't be working yourself up like this... Lay back down..." *moves a bit closer to make sure Wolfram didn't decide to jump out of the bed*
Wolfram - *quickly shakes his head, wanting to know where Yuuri is/stops that when he's hit with a strong wave of nausea, lifting a hand to his mouth as if that could stop him from becoming ill*
Jade - *quickly jumps out of the bed, grabbing a bucket she had found before going to sleep, off the floor and hurrying it over to Wolfram, moving gracefully around Murata so she wouldn't touch him*
Hale - *watches worriedly from his seat, standing up to see if there was anything he could do to help*
Wolfram - *sways slightly in place, his vision going blurry and his head throbbing/quickly* "I'mgonnathrowup."
Jade - *quickly holds the bucket in front of him/shoots little glares at the less-than-helpful men, clearly wanting them to move away and let the poor boy have some air*
Conrart - *stands up/worried*
Wolfram - *leans over the bucket and proceeds to throw up*
Murata - *stands from his chair, moving away a bit, giving Wolfram some air as well/really is not looking foreword to telling him what happened*
Hale - *quickly moves across the room - three or four strides easily - and unlocks the door, pulling it open and leaving*
Conrart - *hovers worriedly, not too sure about a stranger, to him, taking care of his little brother*
Wolfram - *continues to empty his stomach until there's nothing left, heaving and gagging for a bit before he's finally able to calm down/he leans back against the head of the bed, breathing heavily, lifting his hand back up to wipe at his mouth/feels tears fill his eyes/quietly* "Where's Yuuri?"
Murata - *doesn't answer and remains silent*
Conrart - *remains silent as well*
Jade - *petting back Wolfram's hair some, checking his temperature and staying close incase he felt sick again*
Hale - *comes back in soon after leaving with a glass and pitcher of water, pouring some in the glass and handing it to his sister to give to Wolfram*
Yozak - *stands in place/refuses to be the one to say anything*
Wolfram - *tries to stop the spinning in his head, but it's difficult/finally lifts a hand to the spot where it was most painful, surprised to feel bandages/looks to Conrart again then, panicking more* "What happened?"
Conrart - *looks at him, not wanting to be the one to tell him, but also not wanting to just leave him completely in the dark* "You were attacked by bandits... "
Wolfram - *easily remembers that/what he doesn't know is what happened after* "I don't..." *looks around the room for Yuuri again, swallowing hard when he can't find him, struggling against his tears*
Murata - *keeps his silence/let Big Brother Conrart tell him/it would be better that way/... Wolfram was less likely to kill Conrart, at least*
Conrart - *frowns at Murata, now knowing it would have to be him to tell him* "We're going to look for His Majesty as soon as the storm clears up... He's strong, he'll be fine..." *he says that, but he’s still really worried*
Wolfram - *his face goes white... or whiter than it had been, considering he'd already been pretty pale before/more tears fill his eyes* "'Look for him...?'"
Conrart - *nods, trying to look more confident than he felt at the moment* "We're fairly sure they kidnapped him for ransom... They won't kill him..."
Wolfram - *panics completely at the word 'kill'/immediately starts trying to get out of the bed* "I... I have to go... I... I have to find him..."
Jade - *quickly grabs onto his shoulder with her free hand* "It is storming outside... you would not know where to look... you will just get lost, Your Excellency..."
Wolfram - *struggles against her* "I don't care! I have to find him!"
Murata - *sighs/well, at least he hadn't killed anyone yet*
Conrart - *watching him sadly* "We'll find him... Don't worry... as soon as the storm clears up we're sending everyone out to find him..."
Hale - *moves back to the door to lock it and stand in front of it, lest Wolfram try to make a break for it*
Wolfram - *indeed he does try to make a break for it, working and struggling his way off of the bed, but he doesn't get very far after that/his head hurts too much, making him dizzy, and he falls to the floor*
Jade - *quickly places the glass of water on the side table, gracefully leaning down to help him up/softly, hoping to calm him some* "You can not force yourself... if you do, you will end up getting hurt..."
Wolfram - *crying now, tears streaming down his face* "I don't care... I have to find Yuuri..."
Murata - *watches him/more silence*
Yozak - *watches as well/doesn't really have anything to say, nor does he want much of a part in this particular conversation*
Jade - *carefully moves closer to hold him, rubbing his back comfortingly/again, shooting glares at the less-than-helpful men*
Conrart - *also less-than-helpful*
Murata - *finally decides to prove that not all men are less-than-helpful... maybe...* "You think Shibuya would want you to run off, blindly looking for him?"
Wolfram - *lifts his head to glare at Murata through his tears*
Murata - *completely unfazed*
Jade - *not very amused/actually, not amused at all/lifts a finger, pointing to the door* "Out! Everyone!" *apparently she would have to comfort him by herself*
Murata - *actually sputters, staring at the girl/since when did she have the authority to order them all around?*
Yozak - *inwardly impressed, though he doesn't show it*
Conrart - *blinks in surprise, but seeing as he couldn't really do anything, nods to her and turns to leave, though he would be right out in the hall if he was needed*
Hale - *holds the door open for them, though is soon shot a glare from his sister meaning that he was included with 'everyone'*
Jade - *continues to glare at them*
Yozak - *shakes his head, but begins walking towards the door*
Murata - *also begins walking towards the door, frowning a bit*
Wolfram - *continues to glare up at Murata, and when the man is close enough, he forces himself to his feet/lunges at him angrily, attempting to hit at and scratch him as best as he could/shouting* "This is all your fault!! You were the one leading us!! Why didn't you do something?! Why didn't you stop him from transforming?! Why didn't you stop them from taking him?!"
Murata - *still unfazed, though he does take hold of Wolfram's arms and force him away a bit, enough so that he was no longer in danger of having his eyes gauged out*
Jade - *gets up as well, moving to try and comfort him more* "Your Excellency... no one knew something like that would happen... No one is at fault for what happened..." *says that, but still blames herself*
Wolfram - *struggles against the hold Murata has on his arms, turning his glare on the girl for a second* "Shut up! This doesn't have anything to do with you!" *turns back to Murata* "Let me go!! I have to go find him, since you're too worthless to do anything!!"
Murata - *shakes his head slowly* "You're not going anywhere."
Jade - *does shut up, moving back some/doesn't want to stress him out more than he was*
Wolfram - *more struggling, though with the pain in his head, it doesn't take him long to weaken* "Let go of me! You're all to busy sitting here when you could be out there looking for him, so I'll go find him and bring him back myself!!"
Murata - *shakes his head again* "You're in no condition to do something stupid like that."
Conrart - *had hurried back in at the sound of a struggle/quickly moves to place a reassuring hand on his brother's shoulder* "I promise we're doing everything we can... The troops are preparing to head out as soon as it is safe to ride... We can't do anything before that..."
Wolfram - *turns his glare on Conrart then* "You should already be out there looking!! You're just as worthless as he is!! Every time you turn your back, something ends up happening to Yuuri!!"
Conrart - *frowns sadly/watches him carefully* "Do you really think Yuuri would want you to endanger yourself for his sake? Do you really want him to worry about you more than he probably already is...?"
Wolfram - "Shut up!" *finally forces Murata to release his arms* "I'm going to go find him, and there isn't anything any of you can do to stop me!!"
Murata - *stares at him levelly* "I told you, you're not going anywhere. You're going to stay here until you're well enough to travel, and then you're going to go back to the castle and wait."
Wolfram - *turns back on him again, glaring darkly* "You can't tell me what to do!!"
Murata - "Actually, I can. I'm second to the king, so until the two of you are married, and even then, you’ll have a year before you’re coronated, that means I have more authority than you do. You're obligated to follow my orders, and I'm telling you you're going back to the castle."
Conrart - *wary/makes sure he's blocking the direct path to the door* "We'll find him and bring him back... You have nothing to worry about..."
Wolfram - *doesn't listen to Conrart at all, continuing to glare at Murata/eventually lunges to attack him again*
Yozak - *sighs as he backpedals back into the room, moving towards the scuffling pair* "And I get glared at for being unhelpful..." *quickly grabs onto Wolfram, prying him off of the sage and dragging him back, gently tossing him onto the bed*
Conrart - *quickly moves to the bed to make sure Wolfram stayed down*
Jade - *feeling guilty about the whole affair again*
Hale - *doesn't really know what to think, just stands curiously at the door*
Wolfram - *finally stops struggling as he's tossed back onto the bed/rolls over onto his stomach to burry his face into the pillow as he bursts into tears*
Jade - *quickly moves to him again, sitting on the bed and rubbing his back, comfortingly/turns to give a small apologetic nod to Yozak*
Yozak - *grins a little at her, then backs up to lean against the wall again*
Murata - *straightens his clothing a bit, but makes no move to approach the bed/he'd rather keep on living, thanks*
Wolfram - *continues to sob*
Conrart - *moves to the chair, sitting down again/has no idea what to say or do, just wants to make sure his brother was going to be okay... Yuuri too, but he couldn't really do anything about that at the moment*
Jade - *continues to rub his back, forcing herself to refrain from glaring at anyone again/feeling a bit embarrassed about her previous actions*
Wolfram - *sob sob* "I want Yuuri!"
Conrart - *watches him sadly, wishing more than anything to go out into the storm that second to find the king*
Jade - *continues with her actions, moving her other hand to brush back his hair some*
Hale - *silent at the door*
Wolfram - *continues to cry for a while, before he becomes too exhausted to keep it up for much longer/slowly forces himself up when he begins to feel sick again, his head once more spinning*
Jade - *quickly moves to get the bucket again, incase he needed it/her other hand moving from his back to feel his temperature*
Wolfram - *leans over the bucket a second time, but because there was nothing more in his stomach to force its way up he didn't do much more than heave and gag for a bit/once the wave of nausea passes, he flops back against the pillow with a groan, curling onto his side and placing a hand against his stomach*
Murata - *slowly approaches the bed, but keeps himself quiet for a moment*
Jade - *watches him worriedly, though her calm mask was once again hiding most of her emotions* "Are you okay, Your Excellency...? What hurts...?"
Wolfram - *shakes his head and doesn't answer*
Murata - *stares at him seriously, wanting to make sure that he was okay, but also wanting to knock some much needed sense into him* "You need to calm down and think seriously about your situation. Even if you hadn't gotten hurt yesterday, you'd still be in no condition to do any more traveling than what's absolutely necessary."
Conrart - *raises an eyebrow suspiciously at Murata*
Jade - *doesn't say anything, just goes back to brushing some of his bangs from his face*
Wolfram - *doesn't say anything this time, silent tears streaming down his cheeks, staining his face red*
Murata - *continues with his little speech* "You honestly think Shibuya would want you out there looking for him? You shouldn't have even been fighting yesterday." *doesn't want to say anything about how if he'd stopped and stayed back when Yuuri told him to, maybe Yuuri wouldn't have transformed and the bandits wouldn't have known his identity* "Now is one of those rare times when you need to be thinking more about yourself than anyone else."
Conrart - *turns to watch Wolfram for a while before turning back to look at Murata/slowly but surely working things out in his head like he's known to do/still watching Murata, waiting for more solid evidence*
Murata - *feels kinda cool for having an opportunity to be all serious and demanding, like he knows what's best for the blond - and in this instance, he really does* "Shibuya is not going to be happy when he finds out you've been hurt; in fact, I expect he'll be rather angry. But he'll be even angrier if we find him and I have to tell him you miscarried his child because you didn't take proper care of yourself."
Conrart - *okay, that was solid evidence enough.../turns to watch his brother curiously/definitely not going to let him do anything stupid now... not that he was before... but... now it was even more important to keep him calm*
Jade - *sitting still/trying to comfort the blond as best she could*
Yozak - *snorts lightly/to Conrart:* "I told you they ran away to have sex. You owe me a drink after all of this is over."
Wolfram - *starts crying a little harder, though not out right sobbing/feels ashamed of himself, and knows the sage is right, but doesn't want to admit it/angry, frustrated, and scared all at the same time*
Conrart - *sighs lightly/how did Yozak manage to bet on the winning side a good percentage of the time?*
Yozak - *'cause he's awesome like that*
Jade - *continues to try and comfort him* "He is going to be okay... His Majesty said he could take care of himself... we will just have to trust him..."
Wolfram - *... that was not comforting at all*
Murata - *falls silent again, having said all that he needed to*
Conrart - *sighs again, settling into the chair by the bed, ready to keep an eye on his little brother for as long as he had to*
Wolfram - *cries and cries, keeping his hand against his stomach/eventually exhausts himself completely and falls back to sleep*
Murata - *sighs, a bit relieved/figures it's better that he sleep than remain awake, because he honestly didn't know how to deal with him sometimes, especially without Yuuri there to work his magic and keep him calm*
Jade - *sits by the bed, taking Murata's seat to keep watch on him*
Hale - *rolls his eyes, then moves back into the room, closing and locking the door/apparently they weren't going to be leaving for a while*
Yozak - *casually walks over to stand by Conrart/looks at him out of the corner of his eye and smirks* "So... boy or girl?"
Conrart - *doesn't look up at him* "Boy..."
Yozak - "Really now?" *lifts an eyebrow, smirking even more* "I don't know. His Majesty seems more like a Princess Producer to me. I'm saying 'girl.'"
Conrart - *smirks lightly* "We'll just have to wait and see then..."
Yozak - "Loser buys the drinks for a year?"
Conrart - *pauses to think about it for a moment* "You're on."
Yozak - *nods, fairly confident that he was going to win... as always*
Murata - *watches them, smiling as he shakes his head/keeps quiet instead of stating his own opinion on the matter*
Hale - *slightly amused, surprisingly*
Jade - *not amused/ugh... men...*
---------
Iris - *yeah... ugh! men/now, as a way to keep from having to go through every single day of their lives and getting repetitive and stuff, we'll say that a week has passed since Yuuri was first dumped into the room, and though he'd made a few little fusses about finding a way out of there, Iris kept a careful watch on him to make sure he took it easy and allowed himself some time to heal/that didn't mean she could stop his moping though, which we're going to assume he did a lot of, worrying about the friends he'd been separated from, but most of all worrying about Wolfram/speaking about Wolfram still made poor Iris feel weird, but it seemed to put the king in a slightly better mood, so as she made him stay in bed until his wound had started to show signs of healing and his body had compensated for the blood loss, she kept him occupied by having him tell her stories about life at the castle, especially his life with Wolfram, and she amused herself with imagining what it would be like to live there, never once speaking of her own family, or giving him any more details about her past/on the king's eighth day there, Iris awoke to the sun streaming into the window/she was on the bed again, at the king's insistence*
Yuuri - *stirring lightly at the feel of the sun, though not quite enough to wake him* "... Wolfram..." *as if he didn't whine about the blond enough in his sleep/tries hiding from the light, but it was still a bit difficult to make his body move a lot*
Iris - *sits up in bed and smiles lightly at him/over the last week, she'd been given a chance to see how absolutely adorable the king really was, and she was beginning to feel more comfortable around him/he had his darkly serious moments, but he was more or less a little boy at heart/gently reaches out a hand to tenderly brush some of his dark hair behind one of his ears/at first it had been a little odd to see someone with hair and eyes as dark as his were, but she'd come to like his hair*
Yuuri - *waking up a little more, especially at the touch along his hair/over reacts, again, quickly opening his eyes to see if he had been dreaming the entire experience and it was actually Wolfram there next to him/of course, like the past seven days, it wasn't/spares the girl a small smile, hoping not to have startled her again with his subconscious actions* "Good morning..."
Iris - *is a little disappointed that he woke up so quickly/it made her feel horrible to think it, but she liked to watch him sleep/it gave her the opportunity to stare at him without him noticing, and it made her feel less guilty than staring at him when he was awake/smiles at him nonetheless* "Good morning, Your Majesty." *quickly notices that she was still fingering a lock of his hair, and pulls her hand away, hoping he didn't notice - and if he had, she hoped he didn't mind*
Yuuri - *closes his eyes again, trying to go back to waking up properly/sighs to himself about getting so worked up when he knew what was going on/it was probably going to be another long, restless day*
Iris - *frowns to herself once his eyes are closed, sitting still on the bed/she always waited for him to wake up fully and speak to her before beginning any sort of conversation, wanting to give him some time to work through things in his head... or whatever he did when he was silent and had a sad and/or serious look on his face*
Yuuri - *slowly opens his eyes again, double checking where he really was/trying to sit up some, and the pain that came with it was enough to prove that he was definitely awake/turns to smile lightly at the girl* "What's on the agenda for today?"
Iris - *manages another little smile, watching him carefully to make sure that he didn't overexert himself* "Lord Dimitri should be returning today, Your Majesty." *at this, her mouth pulls down into a frown/that man's return meant nothing but bad things for her, and no doubt for the king as well*
Yuuri - *frowns as well, not liking to see the girl look so upset/tries to change the subject, one that he had attempted a few times over the past week* "You know you can just call me 'Yuuri'... It's fine with me..."
Iris - *looks back up at him, flushing* "Oh, I... I couldn't... it would be..."
Yuuri - *nods, rolling his eyes a bit* "It wouldn't be proper, I know.... I know..." *grumbles lightly under his breath about how things were 'too proper,' especially between fellow kidnappees*
Iris - *frowns a bit at her own hesitance, wondering if it really bothered him so much to have everyone call him 'Your Majesty' all the time*
Yuuri - *sighs, looking around the room some, trying to figure out a new method of escape for the day/mumbles playfully* "If I only had a spoon... and a straw..."
Iris - *looks at him oddly, used to hearing about some harebrained escape plan of his, but finding this one exceptionally strange* "I don't understand, Your Ma-" *stops herself, looking at him closely, before flushing and forcing herself to say:* "... Yuuri..."
Yuuri - *blinks at her for a moment before a huge goofy grin spread across his face/a bit excited now* "Well, yeah. We would use a spoon to dig through the wall and..." *pauses, glancing up at the ceiling as if that's where his idea came from* "We would use the straw to breath while we hid under water... Although... if I had just a little more energy... we wouldn't even need another way to escape..."
Iris - *remains looking at him oddly* "Your methods of escape are very strange, Your-" *manages to stop herself sooner this time* "-Yuuri. Most people would merely try to break a window or find some way to pick a lock on the door..." *gives him a warning look, silently telling him not to do either* "And I've already tried both."
Yuuri - *had opened his mouth to suggest doing that, but stopped at her gaze, flinching teasingly* "Which... is why it's better to try more... unique approaches to the situation!"
Iris - *shakes her head a bit, but smiles at him/he was just too cute.../and her heart clenches then, knowing she shouldn't be thinking such things about someone else's fiancé* "I don't suppose you know where we can find a spoon and a straw, then."
Yuuri - *opens his mouth again, but quickly closes it, frowning* "Well... if we carve them out of the bed posts...." *trails off, eyeing the wood*
Iris - *raises an eyebrow* "And what would we use to carve the bed posts?"
Yuuri - *frowns a bit more, crossing his arms over his chest/pauses for a long moment, thinking* "My dear, I believe we've hit a road block..."
Iris - *her heart flutters as he calls her 'my dear,' though she knows he's probably just joking around/she frowns slightly, looking away* "There isn't much we can do, Yo-... Yuuri. I've already tried escaping, and each time I was rewarded with nothing more than a beating." *finally rises from the bed, moving over to a tiny closet/at least these humans were ‘kind’ enough to give them things to wear, however drab and ill-fitting the clothing was*
Yuuri - *pouts some, wishing he was more helpful than just sitting on the bed and thinking up random things* "Am I allowed to get up, today?"
Iris - *turns to smile at him lightly for a moment* "If you feel you can manage it. Just don't try to do too much." *turns back around to begin digging out clothing for herself, flushing at the thought of how much she'd had to help Yuuri do over the last few days/helping the king get dressed was not conducive to keeping one’s face from flaming red*
Yuuri - *nods at her, ready to try and see if he was any better/slowly moves to the edge of the bed, moving his legs over the edge/winces a bit at the pressure on his chest, but ignores it and slowly stands up, a bit excited about moving around/although, the few steps to one of the chairs was all he could manage/winces again as he sits down before laughing nervously* "Well... that was better than nothing..."
Iris - *eyes him worriedly* "Please, don't hurt yourself more, Y-Yuuri." *happy with herself that it was quickly becoming easier to call him by his name/makes sure her back is turned to him before she begins taking off the clothes from yesterday, preparing to change*
Yuuri - *makes sure he doesn't pay attention to her changing, especially if he made her feel uncomfortable as it was/pretty happy about being called by his actual name, though*
Iris - *quickly puts on new clothing, an old, faded blue skirt that barely reached her knees - and she had to wonder for a moment if it had once belonged to a child, because it was a little tight around the waist, though not unbearably so - and a white shirt that was just a size too big/both articles of clothing looked as if they'd seen better days*
Yuuri - *while she was changing, he decided to try moving around more, carefully standing and slowly moving his way to the barred windows, peering out and holding onto the wall for support* "Looks like it stopped snowing..."
Iris - *turns to him in surprise, having not noticed he'd moved/walks over to the window to stand beside him, nodding at his observation* "They'll most likely be going out again with the coming of the next storm. It's how they hide their tracks, traveling as the snow is falling."
Yuuri - *frowns, remembering to keep that in mind for the next time there were any bandit problems* "It must be slow for them in the summer..."
Iris - *lifts an eyebrow at him, and can't stop herself from laughing*
Yuuri - *turns, grinning down at her* "You think so, too?"
Iris - *nods at him again, smiling brighter than she had in a while* "Yes." *backs away a bit after her laughs had died down, though the smile remained/takes a moment to straighten and smooth out her skirt, before looking up at the king again* "Would you like to get changed, Yuuri?"
Yuuri - *looks down at the huge, moth eaten shirt and faded pants he was wearing/pretends to think about it for a bit, then smiles at her* "I guess that would be good."
Iris - *nods once more before heading back to the closet, digging out something else for him to wear/wished for a moment that she could see him back at the palace, dressed in his finest clothing and looking every bit like a king, but she brushed that thought aside quickly/once she's found some suitable clothes, she turns back to face him, taking a few step towards him/now she blushes* "Do you think you'll need help today?"
Yuuri - *winces lightly, hating to have her be bothered with helping him with everything* "Maybe just a bit..." *would have tried to do it by himself, but he was getting dizzy from standing/slowly turns to move back to one of the chairs, sitting down before pulling the shirt off over his head/pauses to inspect the stitched up gash in his side, frowning at it/grumbles about how pathetic a battle scar it would turn out to be*
Iris - *smiles slightly at his grumbling, thinking it to be just another one of his little habits that made him seem so adorable/walks over to him to inspect the wound as well, actually thinking it would make a pretty decent 'battle scar,' seeing as he didn't seem to have any others/is glad that it seems to be healing well and that it isn't infected, but moves to the bedside table to retrieve a little jar, putting a little more antiseptic on it - just to be safe/now came the embarrassing part, though she managed to keep her blush down to a light pink color instead of a vibrant red* "You have to take off your pants as well, Yuuri." *she'd said this same thing every day, and every day she felt her face create a newer, darker shade of red*
Yuuri - *blinks up from grumbling still to nod/okay, it was a bit weird at first, but he really would rather be in clean clothes than the same thing everyday/ doesn't even blush that much any more/carefully pushes himself up off the chair enough to slide the waist band down before wincing, having to sit down again, but manages to pull the rest of his clothes off, waiting for the girl to help him get his new clothes on... well... clean clothes...*
Iris - *slowly helps him into a new set of pants/she seriously hoped he didn't notice her staring/she honestly couldn't help it; he was so handsome and strong, and everything she'd imagined him to be - excluding his boyish quirks, but those were merely a plus/fastens the pants once they were in place, then moves to carefully help him into his shirt as well, managing to control her blush with very little difficulty after have seven days of practice/buttons the shirt for him as well, telling herself it was just her maternal instincts that made her do so, nothing else*
Yuuri - *allows the girl to help him, especially since she seemed so eager to help/smiles at her as she finished buttoning up the shirt for him, even though he could have very well done it himself... oh well, it was kinda cute...* "Thank you..."
Iris - *stands back, moving herself out of his personal space/compulsively smoothes out her skirt again* "You're welcome."
Yuuri - *bites at his bottom lip, watching her smooth out her skirt/mentally kicks himself as he felt his eyes start to sting again, like they did on occasion over the past week/forces himself to smile at her* "You make near rags look really cute, you know."
Iris - *flushes a little/couldn't tell if he was joking or if he was serious/quietly, forcing herself not to stare at him again* "Thank you..."
Yuuri - *smiles at her, forcing back the stupid tears/couldn't help the ache he felt in his heart as he watched her sometimes/she wasn't exactly like Wolfram... mostly because no one could ever be just like Wolfram... but some of her habits matched his so well*
Iris - *shifts a little uncomfortably on her feet, before making herself look back at him* "Are you feeling alright, Yuuri?"
Yuuri - *blinks, looking up at her* "Yeah! I'm great!" *forces himself to grin, then playfully flexes one of his arms for her/what? guys on Earth did it all the time.... or... something like that...* "Never better!"
Iris - *unconsciously stares at his arm/... he had nice arms.../quickly snaps her eyes away, though, feeling that little pang of guilt erupt within her again* "You shouldn't do too much all at once. You're still regaining your strength."
Yuuri - *pouts at that, crossing his arms over his chest* "I'm fine..." *grumbles about how people worried too much - which thought, of course, made his eyes start to sting again*
Iris - *easily notices that something isn't quite right with him/wonders if he's thinking about his fiancé again* "Yuuri, are you really alright?"
Yuuri - *nods slowly, cursing himself for being so pathetic*
Iris - *takes a step closer, moving to get a better look at his face* "You shouldn't lie. Something's bothering you."
Yuuri - *quickly brings a hand up to his face to rub at his eyes* "I.... I just really miss him... I don't even know if he's okay... or if..." *stops himself from talking, which also helps him manage to hold off the tears for a bit longer*
Iris - *tells herself that the painful feeling inside of her at that moment is not jealousy, though she does spare a moment to pray that Wolfram was grateful that he had someone who obviously cares for him so much* "I'm sure he's fine. You really shouldn't worry so much."
Yuuri - *nods at her, though he doesn't really mean it/couldn't help but worry* "Sorry... I'm fine..."
Iris - *shakes her head at him with a sad sigh* "No, you're not."
Yuuri - *doesn't say anything, just continues to rub at his eyes and try to distract himself from thinking so much about Wolfram*
Iris - *debates with herself for a moment, before stepping foreword to wrap her arms around him in a loose hug*
Yuuri - *quickly wraps his arms around her as well, burying his face into her shoulder/muffled* "What would I do if something happened and I'll never see him again?? I... I just want to see him again..."
Iris - "I'm sure he's alright. He's a soldier, isn't he? He can take care of himself." *not that she really knows what she's saying, considering she's never even seen the boy before/she's merely basing all of this on the things she's heard about him* "And I'm sure he wouldn't want you to worry like this. If you continue on this way, you won't be in proper shape to greet him the next time you see him. What will he think then?"
Yuuri - *sighs, thinking of it/praying that she was right* "He'd call me a wimp... not that it's much change from how things usually are..."
Iris - *pulls away to smile lightly at him/teases him a bit, hoping to get him in a better mood* "You should be ashamed of yourself, Yuuri, not taking proper care of yourself when your fiancé is probably out there somewhere, worried about how much your wimpiness will get you in trouble. You should keep your thoughts optimistic, and then the next time you see him you can prove to him just how much of a man you really are."
Yuuri - *snorts at her words* "Yeah... That'll be the day..."
Iris - "You don't think he'll ever see you as a real man?"
Yuuri - *shakes his head* "Oh... that's not it at all..." *it was really more of him seeing himself like that/he really was a wimp*
Iris - "You should surprise him." *smiles more, even if she still feels the slight pains of jealousy/she was not one to act on those sorts of feelings, though* "I'm sure he's worried about how you must be feeling. You should prepare to greet him with a smile, so he'll never know how much you've pined for him. It would make him feel bad." *or at least, hearing Yuuri talk about him, she thought it would*
Yuuri - *nods at her, pulling away before smiling* "Thanks... I'll do my best..."
Iris - *raises an eyebrow at him/what made him think she was done?* "When you next see him, you should lift him up into your arms and spin him around, as long as your injury has healed enough, of course. Then tell him how beautiful he is, and how you hoped you hadn't worried him, and how, if you had, you'd do anything to make it up to him. Then kiss him, and take his hand, and lead him into the castle, and whisper sweet nothings into his ear all night." *well... that's what she'd like her fiancé to do for her if he went missing for an extended period of time*
Yuuri - *blinks at her, listening to what she told him, then smiles brighter, nodding again* "I will... Thank you...."
Iris - *lifts a finger up, a sign that she was still not done* "Then you can sit in your room, and cuddle with him on your bed, and discuss the plans for your wedding, and how many children you want, and what their names should be." *looks at Yuuri curiously* "That is, of course, if you really want children, though I can't imagine a king not having at least one child to serve as an heir."
Yuuri - *cringes back, but silently nods, not wanting to interrupt her again*
Iris - *is actually done this time, though she does take a moment to think of anything else she may have forgotten to suggest/brightens after a second* "And if you find out that he did, indeed, miss you and pine for you as you currently miss and pine for him, you should buy him a gift - an expensive one - and make sure it's something to prove your undying love for him."
Yuuri - *nods at her* "I already am planning on an expensive engagement ring. Though I'm sure anything else would be good too."
Iris - *gives him another odd look* "Engagement ring?"
Yuuri - *mentally smacks himself* "Uhh... From where I'm from... instead of slapping someone to propose... they propose with a ring... So... I was going to get him one... since he said he'd 'indulge me' in one of my home's stupid little traditions."
Iris - *tries to wrap her mind around the concept* "Then the ring symbolizes the same thing as the slap, right?"
Yuuri - *can't believe he's actually having to explain it again... even if it was to someone else* "Uhh... yeah... something like that..."
Iris - *thinks on it a bit more, before smiling again* "I think I like that idea. It seems very romantic. If you slap him, the bruise or marking will fade over time, but a ring will last forever."
Yuuri - *still doesn't like the idea of slapping him* "Yeah... but a ring can also get lost or stolen and sold again..." *deja vu?*
Iris - *shakes her head at him* "Then it's up to him to make sure it doesn't. You would have already proven your love by giving it to him, and he will have to prove his by wearing it faithfully." *will now admit to being jealous, wishing someone like Yuuri would give something like that to her, but she doesn't allow it to show, smiling at him the whole while*
Yuuri - *shrugs, but smiles/doesn't want to just drop what Wolfram had tried to explain to him because someone else saw the idea in a similar fashion to himself* "I guess that makes sense. Although, I don't know if they make rings small enough for him..." *yes, they do...* "His hands are really small..."
Iris - "Really?" *holds up her own hand* "Like this? Or smaller?"
Yuuri - *blinks at her, but holds up his hand to hers/quickly nods before pulling his hand away, eyes starting to sting again/forces a smile* "You're almost exactly the same..."
Iris - *lifts an eyebrow, curious* "Almost?" *she'd always thought her own hands were pretty small; it nearly amazed her that his fiancé’s would be about the same size/now she wished she could see the boy, just to see what he was like with her own eyes* "Is he not very tall either, Yuuri?"
Yuuri - *shakes his head* "Nope. About your height, too."
Iris - "Oh..." *doesn't really know how to feel about that/doesn't really know how Yuuri felt about that either*
Yuuri - *bites at his bottom lip again, trying not to think too deeply into the similarities/glances off around the room again, trying to think of a better way to get out instead*
Iris - *sighs to herself, feeling like a fool again for obviously making him feel bad/moves away from him to seat herself in one of the other chairs/falls silent, figuring it would be better than making him think of things that apparently upset him*
Yuuri - *pauses for a long moment, forcing back the tears that were starting to well up again/finally turns to the girl to smile at her* "Sorry, it would be a lot easier to get out if I wasn't such a wimp." *of course, if he hadn't been injured, he probably wouldn't have been in there at all*
Iris - *shakes her head at him/none of this was his fault, and it really wasn't his responsibility to get her out of here* "I'm sure people are already looking for you. If they know you're missing, they won't wait long to start searching."
Yuuri - *nods at her, still smiling* "Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they've already broken in and are on their way to this room right now. Although... It might require us to dress up in some kind of costume..." *pauses, remembering back to the first real time he was kidnapped and had to dress as a maid*
Iris - *highly doubts they'd find him so soon, especially with the cover of all the recent snow storms, but she isn't about to dash his hopes now/she simply nods at him, folding her hands in her lap*
Yuuri - *glances around the room again before carefully pushing himself out of the chair and moving over to the door, trying for himself to see if it was locked or not/it was/grumbles under his breath about wishing he carried around a lock pick or something*
Iris - *watches him quietly, wishing there was something she could do to help him, but she'd tried everything she could think of already, and nothing worked* "You shouldn't be walking around so much."
Yuuri - *grins at her over his shoulder* "I'm fine... I need to move around, anyway." *goes back to inspecting the door, seeing if there was a way to remove it completely*
Iris - *frowns a bit, doesn't want him to use too much energy/if Lord Dimitri was going to come see him when he returned to the manor, he'd need all the energy he could get* "Yuuri, please. It worries me."
Yuuri - *turns to her, frowning and feeling guilty about making her worry* "Sorry... I'll stop..." *slowly makes his way back to the chair, wincing once or twice along the way before sitting to pout at the stupid door*
Iris - *falls silent again, wincing herself every time he did/she wondered how he was able to stand the pain all the time, and cursed the people around here for not giving him anything to help it*
Yuuri - *sighs after a while* "I guess it would be too much to ask for you to fake being sick... so when they come in here to see, I can clobber them and we'd be able to make a run for it..." *pauses, thinking again* "Although... it's bound to be cold outside..."
Iris - *looks at him sadly* "I don't think they'd care very much if I fell ill, Yuuri. I've been sick before and they did nothing for me."
Yuuri - *stares at her, a bit startled/sure, they were bandits, but he didn't expect them to be so heartless when it came to helping an innocent girl... though... they did kidnap her in the first place.... but that wasn't the point* "They... they didn't help at all...?"
Iris - *shakes her head, still looking sad* "No... though it's not like it was so bad... I wasn't deathly ill or anything like that..."
Yuuri - *watches her, worriedly* "But..." *doesn't really know what to say, just wishes even more to be able to get out*
Iris - "It's fine. You shouldn't worry about it. You should focus on getting better. You wouldn't want to be a complete wreck the next time Lord Wolfram sees you."
Yuuri - *can feel his heart throb again at the name/nods to her, not wanting her to worry about him either* "Okay..."
Iris - *opens her mouth to say something, perhaps to start another one of the conversations she often employs to ease his mind and calm him down, but she's stopped as she hears the lock of the door turning/she immediately looks worried, turning a fearful look to Yuuri before turning to watch the door*
Lord Dimitri - *or, what Yuuri can only assume is Lord Dimitri, considering he's never seen him before until now/he enters with a group of his bandits, two of them - Owen included - standing by the door to guard it, while three others bring in plates of food and drinks, moving to set them on the table, as if they were used to doing this every day when, in reality, Iris and Yuuri had gotten little more than mush for the last week, much less anything that looked like real food/the lord himself is a middle aged human man, probably in his late forties or early fifties, with brown hair that's beginning to turn gray, and gray-blue eyes/he's wearing elaborate clothing, compared to Yuuri, Iris, and the bandits, and he has a few pieces of jewelry on his person, made of beautifully glowing stones*
Yuuri - *at the sound of the door unlocking, he immediately stands from the chair, moving around the table to place himself in front of the girl/not really sure what to have expected, but was definitely more than a little surprised to see their sudden attempts at faux-hospitality/frowns, standing a bit straighter, and doing his best to ignore the pain/waits for them to make the first move*
Iris - *stands from her chair behind Yuuri/really doesn't want him to trouble himself by trying to protect her, since she knows these men better than he does and knows what to expect, but can't force herself to speak up*
Lord Dimitri - *shoots a strange little smile in Yuuri's direction, easily able to pick out the pained look he was trying so hard to hide/almost laughs at his attempts to protect the girl, as there really wasn't much he could do to save her from things that had already been done to her/as the three bandits who'd brought in the elaborate display of food leave and shut the door behind them - leaving Owen and the second guard in with him to make sure the demon king didn't try anything funny - Dimitri takes a step foreword and drops into an overly dramatic bow, obviously mocking him* "Your Majesty..."
Yuuri - *frowns, obviously not amused* "Lord Dimitri..."
Dimitri - *raises from his bow, in no way put off by his attitude, as he's got the boy in the palm of his hand already/motions towards the table* "Please, Your Majesty, have a seat."
Yuuri - *doesn't move, just watches the man and his movements, making sure he didn't try to harm the girl* "What do you want?"
Dimitri - *forces a feigned look of surprise onto his face* "What makes you assume that I want anything?"
Yuuri - *scoffs* "Well, I'm assuming I wasn't kidnapped for no reason at all. Very poor planning on your half, Lord Dimitri."
Dimitri- *moves closer to them, slowly heading towards one of the chairs around the table* "It was never my intention to kidnap you, Your Majesty. I must admit I was a bit surprised to return the manor to discover what my friends had found along their travels."
Yuuri - *frowns even more, holding his ground in front of the girl* "Then what do you want?"
Dimitri - *gives him another smile* "At the moment, I merely wish to sit and eat. I've just finished traveling myself, and have been home but a few hours. Surely you'd care to join me. You must be hungry." *motions towards all of the food again, taking a seat in one of the chairs* "We can discuss this unfortunate incident over our meal. Think of it as just another one of your state dinners. I've heard you've negotiated many a treaty over the delicious dishes your own cooks prepare."
Yuuri - *still frowning, but finally moves to sit in the chair next to the girl, though not making any move towards the food, just continues to watch the man*
Dimitri - *makes no move to touch the food, although he motions with one of his hands towards one of the guards at the door* "It would upset my sense of propriety to begin eating before one so exalted such as yourself has been served."
Owen - *moves from the door to walk over to the table, moving some food off of the platters onto the three different plates that had been set around the table/returning to his previous spot once he's done*
Iris - *watches everything warily*
Yuuri - *still makes no movement towards the food, not sure he really wanted to eat anything when he was annoyed like he was*
Dimitri - *also does not move, since apparently it 'wasn't proper to begin eating before a king,' or whatever/really he's just playing around with him, mocking him in subtle ways/smirks to himself* "Is something the matter, Your Majesty?"
Yuuri - *shrugs, really not amused by his attitude*
Dimitri - *still not put off at all/his men had already told him enough about the king's actions over the last week for him to know which buttons to push to get the desired reaction* "I hear you were eloping before you were so unfortunately attacked."
Yuuri - *frowns, but doesn't move* "Yes, I was..."
Dimitri - "It would seem your fiancé had a bit of an accident."
Yuuri - *feels his heart seem to stop, but tries not to look upset, even though his eyes widen for a moment/forces himself to speak evenly* "Did he...?"
Dimitri - *inwardly grins... evilly* "Yes, I'm afraid so. It seems at the moment you were stabbed, one of my men pushed him a little harder than was necessary. I hear he hit his head quite hard." *continues to smile serenely at the king* "Oh, but you must forgive them, Your Majesty. Had they known the boy was really so important to you, they would have brought him along."
Yuuri - *trying desperately to keep his breathing from getting too irregular/again, forcing himself to speak levelly* "Why are you telling me this...?"
Dimitri - *looks surprised* "I thought you would wish to know. You must have been so very worried about him this past week."
Yuuri - *swallows, trying to calm himself down/thoughts of what could have happened to Wolfram were racing through his head/praying even more desperately that he really was alright*
Dimitri - "Very beautiful, isn't he - your fiancé. I'm happy to say I was given the privilege of meeting him once myself."
Yuuri - *doesn't say anything, just stares at him/fighting the urge to force his way out of the room that second, but he knew it would be a pointless effort*
Dimitri - *continues with his little tale, which is actually truthful* "Oh, but it was so long ago, when I was just a boy. My father had been sent as an ambassador to attempt a temporary peace agreement, and I was fortunate enough to go along with him. Lord Wolfram couldn't have been more than forty at the time, so..." *pretends to think for a moment* "... from my prospective, as well as from yours I would assume, he looked around the age of seven or eight. Still very pretty, even then." *smiles, as if remembering something amusing* "Although, I fear I made him cry."
Yuuri - *tenses up, not really sure he wanted to hear what the man had to say/trying to sound uninterested, but he already had his hands clenched into fists in his lap under the table* "Oh...?"
Dimitri - *nods* "Yes. I don't believe he liked me very much, and we found ourselves in a bit of an argument. We were but children then, Your Majesty, so of course we reacted in a rather childish way. He pinched me, and I pinched him back - a little harder than he'd expected I would, I suppose. I got into a lot of trouble for bringing harm upon the Demon Queen's precious baby son..." *shakes his head, shrugging slightly* "And obviously the peace agreements fell through, although it wasn’t because of something so petty as that. I'm afraid my father did not get along with Lord Wolfram's mother either."
Yuuri - *his eye twitches a bit, but he holds his ground, not wanting to get so worked up over something like that/obviously, he didn't like hearing about Wolfram getting hurt* "That's a shame... Perhaps we could negotiate something once you take me back to the capital. I'm sure we could work something out."
Dimitri - "Hmmm, perhaps..." *doesn't bother to answer that/now it was time for a few carefully placed lies* "It's truly a shame he hasn't woken up yet..."
Yuuri - *his eyes instantly widen* "What?"
Dimitri - *smiles at him, and though he manages to make it look sad, he's truly enjoying Yuuri's reaction* "Word travels fast, Your Majesty. Your friends did all they could for him after my men had left with you, but, like I said before, he hit his head rather hard."
Iris - *sits by quietly, fidgeting/knows he's lying, but she's too afraid to speak up*
Yuuri - *can feel his breathing get more labored/quickly pushes the chair back, standing to head for the door*
Dimitri - *watches him, smirking darkly behind his back*
Owen - *stands before the door, preparing himself to fight him off, though he doesn't think it will take much since the boy has been weakened*
Yuuri - *glares at the man before the door, wincing as his sudden movements got the better of him, sending a sharp pain through his body/breathing heavily* "Move..."
Owen - *smirks at him* "I don't think so."
Iris - *weakly, still sitting by the table* "Yuuri..."
Yuuri - *quickly glances back at the girl, cursing to himself/he couldn't just leave her there.../winces even more, making his way back to hold on to the back of the chair for support/apparently the pain plus his labored breathing wasn't a good combination/stares off into space, trying to figure out the fastest way to get out with Iris with what little energy he had/obviously, it would be pointless to even try a water transport… he’d end up killing himself, and then have Iris end up in some frozen lake, under the ice… that would definitely be bad*
Dimitri - *continues to watch him, enjoying the way in which he'd reacted to the girl's call of his name* "I'm so sorry to have to tell you these sorts of things, Your Majesty..."
Yuuri - *glares at the man* "Tell me what you want so you will let us go..."
