New jobs (meat-related and otherwise), new loves, new books, new ideas...
My world is overflowing with new-ness. I love and hate it at the same time.
Other than that, I have nothing to say, so I'm going to post a quote that was in the literaryquotes community today that I liked...
And when the universe has finished exploding, all the stars will slow down, like a ball that has been thrown into the air, and they will come to a halt and they will all begin to fall toward the center of the universe again. And then there will be nothing to stop us from seeing all the stars in the world because they will all be moving towards us, gradually faster and faster, and we will know that the world is going to end soon because when we look up into the sky at night there will be no darkness, just the blazing light of billions and billions of stars, all falling.
(from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon)
...and something I read in the ljdemocrats community...
Remove your Bush for Kerry
(An unprecedented, symbolic protest)
Show your support for Sen. John Kerry and your desire to remove Bush from the White House by shaving your genitals and getting rid of your own Bush. Get out a razor and remove your Bush from now until election day! Join thousands of other activists and young people in this historic, unprecedented, symbolic protest of the Bush Administration and their skewed, misguided policies. Encourage your friends and all other young people you know to make that close shave in support of a better future for all of us. Get rid of YOUR Bush, because every Bush is a bad Bush.
Ha ha.
