(no subject)
new layout.
i'm dissappointed. i thought we had more shoe shots.
maybe i'm missing some.
i hate lj for not ever getting the dimension right on layouts
today it was 70* and around 1:30 i felt really depressed if i didn't go outside and enjoy it, especially since i've been complaining i'm done with winter. so i put on my shorts and a hoodie and i decided to lug out my bike. the main reason i haven't ridden it yet was because i was afraid i wouldn't be able to get it back up to my apt (my steps are pretty steep) but it really wasn't that bad. i discovered a bike trail i had no idea existed. after about a half hour trying to air up my tires because i'm stupid and don't know how. i went over by all the tires places to see if they had some free air because 50 cents for air is just ridiculous. they didn't have any. and the closest gas station was across four lanes of traffic i didn't really feel like crossing. then i see this brige that goes over the moat. so i decide to follow it. and discover it goes underneath the four lane highway. so i just rode it. apparently i'm the only one in cape that didn't know about this because there were tons of people riding bikes/walking/jogging on it. it actually goes all the way to the other side of town....through arena park, by all these softball/baseball fields i never knew existed, and the driving range i never knew where it was...and into Cape Woods..ok, so we have a cape woods. and then ended all the way by highway W on the north end of kingshighway. on my way back i saw a sign that said everywhere it went. i must have biked around 6 miles, there and back. it wasn't bad at all..except on the way back i was going against the wind that was blowing 40 mph and i could barely peddle. i seriously felt like i was going backwards. it was fun though. i shall do it again sometime. hopefully it stays this nice.
the OVC trip was alright. not too bad. i made $20 bucks out of the deal b/c we get meal money and i didn't spend any. that's the thing about track meets...they last ALL day, and you don't get to eat. but the girls won the whole thing, the guys got second. and alot of people medaled, so it was exciting. the whole way there and back i listened to my headphones and read a book. so relaxing. i need to start reading again.

i think i have limbeck to play in maimi in april.
