lol... in other news... I've become a complete anime whore in my spare time and feel the need to apoligize. I've already gone through Death Note, Hikaru no Go, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Loveless, Fruits Basket, and Prince of Tennis....But fear not! I don't have any new fandoms... they are just a highly amusing way to fill my time and totally space out for 30 minutes. *nods* I'm currently enjoying the crack that is Kyou Kara Maou... I kinda love it for how utterly ridiculous it is. Plus... WOLFRAM IS SOOO CUTE! *twirls*
Also, its FRIDAY and you know what THAT MEANS!!!!! COUNTRY MUSIC and HAPPINESS!!!!!! So, cause its been ages, I give you s'music (and not just country!
Keith Urban-Better LIfe: This song just makes me happy. End of story... (okay, that and that he's ridiculously hot)
Warren Brothers- Just Another Sad Song: I still remember when I saw these guys open for Garth Brooks when I was younger... I've loved them ever since, even though they never really made it BIG. If you know the movie "Hope Floats" they sing "The Beat of a Heart" from it... but this one is just so easy breezy and perfect. I love the two brother's voices too, and they always have nice harmonies and lyrics.
Dave Matthews Band- Stay: Okay, this is a must have of Dave's and if you don't have it... SHAME!!! It is happines and sunshine and sweat and fun and icecream and iced tea all dancing together in the ocean!!! lol... 'kay that totally doesn't make sense unless you listen to the song and just FEEL it.... I can't even describe my love for this song. The backup singers kick ass, and the chorus...and the LYRICS Its sexy and sweet and makes me want summer right the fuck NOW!
Dave Matthews Band- Satellite: Another must have. Everytime I hear this I'm instantly back in our old maroon Volvo driving to school with my older sister at an ungodly hour in the morning with the windows down despite the chill because the defrost didn't work. This song is just so charming and quitely perfect... as usual, Dave's words are so perfect( "winter comes, spring erases") and the little swells just send shivers down my spine everytime.
Eli "Paperboy" Reed- Walkin' and Talkin'(for my Baby): This is actually a local guy who plays right in Harvard square when the sun starts to shine. He's part of the reason I love Boston so much... walking into the square, sun on my face, and hearing his quitar singing from blocks away. It makes me feel more carefree and never fails to get me to stop, buy a cappucino, sit, and just enjoy life a little. This recording is so great too, cause it sounds like you're listening to an old record, just a little scratchy but so much sweeter for it.
French Kiss- La Mer: First, I don't actually know who sings this, but it is from the movie French Kiss. Drifting in through your window on a warm spring day, this song utterly romantic and sweet. Plus it always makes me thinkg of Momenti Diversi, one of my favorite H/D fics.
Gentleman-Send a Prayer: Okay... so let me explain myself. I heard this song in an animation I found over DA some years ago and I instantly fell in love with it. Its basically Regae...but its a German guy (not that you can tell)... I don't know... The chorus is just utterly happy and shiny even though its a bit bittersweet(or maybe thats just because of the animation I saw). Either way... I nice mid morning pick up song.
Jack's Mannequin- Pt.1 Made for Eachother/Pt.2 You Can Breathe: My guilty pleasure song of the moment. Its just happy and I'm a sucker for long songs. Plus, I secretly like his voice...don't tell!

Speaking of music, I got the Dreamgirls soundtrack... OMG! I just LOVE it!!!!! Its so FUN!!! I never really listened to oldies like normal kids(no, no, I was raised on Country music so I can be made fun of for life...lol), so this kind of makes up for it...kinda... lol. Anyways.... its just makes me bounce around my appartment doing little dances. Yes...I'm a ginormous dork. Thank you very much.
Um, what else... OH, I'm officially learning guitar this summer. I'm determined and now that I've got it in my head, there's no going back (kinda like the 48 hour day, only hopefully this turns out better! lol). I've been having a blast with my Regina Spektor music and can't wait to learn more....its such a stress reliever! I'm in practice rooms so much now, its nice to take a break from scales or solfege and just play some music that I love!
Now that i'm drawing so much more I'm really annoyed that my camera still doesn't connect to my computer! I have to much stuff I want to share with you guys, and no way of getting it onto the computer! *huff* Plus, as you may or may not know, my scanner is broken but, even if I fixed it, most of them are too big to scan, so I REALLY just need to fix my camera...*le sigh*
OH! And I'm so excited! I'm making dinner for one of my best friends tonight! Should be fun... although I still haven't decided fish or pasta. However, I do know that I'm making mini chocolate lava cakes for dessert! yuuuuummy!!!
