The Lovely Feathers- Fudgicle: because I just got this song and now have it on repeat. Its just happy...and the way he says "fudgicle" owns me! Plus...its got this happy retro 80's section and you all need something to rock out to on this Thirsty Thursday to carry you over into FABULOUS Friday!
And cause I feel the need to pimp one of my Seattle bands...I give you two albums from The Divorce
There Will Be Blood Tonight: sounds scary, but really its just awesome rock that leans towards pop because of it's happy dancey side...I wish I could describe it, but I've been listening to them for so long that I don't think I could give you a coherent one. This album basically defined my senior year in highschool, so I have a soft spot for it...but everyone I've ever played it for instantly falls in love too...so LISTEN! The whole album is great but I LOVE "The Man Moan" "Knife and Kids" "The Academy" "Force of the Iron Cobra"...actually...I love the whole album. lol.
The Gifted Program: Their second album...this album is basically The Weekend Album that will kick all others in the ass and then pick them up and boogie with them while making funny hand gestures. Choruses that just ache to be screamed on drunken nights, beats that make you wanna dance, and a lead singer whose voice will make your panties happy. ENJOY!!!!!!!!
