you are bad influencing me ;3; Either way, I think I'm just going to stick to getting inked pages done during november. Adding colour will kill me. x.x right now, these are taking like.. 12 hours a piece. That is too damn long.
More like 12 hours to render, ink, and colour. And yes, digitally. Actually, it's the inking that takes the longest. I think I need to switch to hand-inking and see if that cuts down the process a little. /nod/
LOL, ahh i see. There's two steps there--the first is the render, or "sketch" with a pencil. The second is tracing over that with a darker, more solid line (usually, not always) that we call "inking" as, traditionally, it's done with ink. It's basically cleaning up the rough art into something that's more easily colourable.
