Morning Babble and TSM
I'm making one of my infamous lists. This one is a list of ideas for fanart pieces/buttons/etc that I might do for a con... or just for the hell of it. It's categorized by items. There's no specific "due" date on these ... yet. I'm trying to get better about setting and meeting personal deadlines. Which reminds me that I really need to be working on that chapter. =.=

I think I want to go back in and edit the BG a bit... but other than than that, I think it might actually do roughly well at a con. Maybe. We'll see. XD
IN OTHER NEWS: Nick is still being far more friendly on the TSM front. So.. he's a small preview for those who have been waiting:
Nick's eyes opened to a beer bottle bursting beside his head. He winced away in time that the shards and booze only stung his cheek, then peeked between his lashes to see where it had come from.
The drunk standing in the open doorway wobbled in place, his hefty form a blank silhouette against toxic neon light. Nick remained motionless as the man took a step forward, stumbled over the stoop he hadn't realized was there, waved his arms a bit and regained balance. He turned, raised a fist at the bar and yelled something--it wasn't English, Nick thought, but it didn't sound polite. Jeers and catcalls returned fire, and the drunk began to wobble purposefully back toward the door. It slammed in his face, and for a moment he stood there, dazed, as if he weren't sure what had happened.
Like a bear waking from hibernation, the drunk shook his head and turned again. A passing car caught the man's eyes, casting them a reflective yellow. Nick didn't dare shiver; he didn't dare to breathe.
Then the drunk shuffled a step to the left, and another, rotating by degrees to lumber down the alley toward the open street.
When he had gone, Nick let out the breath he'd been holding and climbed to his feet. He skirted around the shards of broken glass and drew his coat tighter around him. Not that it mattered--the wind was intent on piercing every hole and thread-bare spot it could find. Raucous laughter from inside the rat's nest bar reminded him of why the open street was better than the dubious shelter of the alley, and he plunged back into the night.
Pins / Stickers
Amazon Quartet
- One each of the girls, chibi form, with their proper "associations" (I.E. JunJun in a biker jacket, etc) and backgrounds.
- Probably the Dark Moon villains, maybe a beryl or metallia if people would even recognize them. Maybe run designs by SMF group before implementation.
- Also, maybe Lead Crow and Iron Mouse
- One each of the Shitennou, like the AQ above, with their general associations. Pun intended
- Perhaps a S/S pin of each of them.
- Ask around about "lesser seen" KH characters, but mostly major three--Rik, Sor, & Kai.
- A set of "pairing" pins-- S/K, R/K, S/R, S/K/R
- Definitely one of each of the boys, plus 6, 9, 11, R, & S. Maybe 13. Chibi-style, maybe with a "space" background? Or Earth, depending on their alliances.
- Start with the :D face SM that's already done, and make others of a similar vein.
PRINTS
- Possibly use the R/R one I did last last year--with some clean up involved.
- Do a pin-up piece of the Senshi in a criminal lineup, mobster suits.
- Finish the button-up cheesecake pic.
- Kingdom Hearts three-print spread of playing volleyball with a blitzball -- Kai, Sor, Nami, Roxas, Axel, Riku, Tifa, maybe a few others. Pieces should either fit together, or else be a sort of "sequential" scene--one after the other.
- A set of SM bookmarks featuring the Senshi, each performing an attack. All individual pieces should fit into a composition against one another.
- A set of SM bookmarks featuring the Amazon Senshi and Chibi Moon, princess versions perhaps. Or amazon outfits, including Moon. Again, composition should fit.
