I "stole" this from someone over on Dotmoon last year, and decided to do it again this year--trying to start a tradition, of sorts, for myself. This is about being utterly honest with myself about the past years fan-fic writing.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
About what I predicted by quantity, but less in the sense of what I was supposed to be writing.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2008?
Usagi/Jadeite, who sort of jumped into a fic when I wasn't looking for it to happen.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
This Sweet Madness. I have the most fun writing it, though the subject matter is fairly... well. Mental. I'm hoping to get the actual first chapter complete by January. (it got started with chapters three and four, for some reason)
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I think "This Sweet Madness" is a huge risk, not only for current content but for a lot of the things that are coming in it. I've learned, through writing it, that I can do things which aren't sappy sweet and fluffy, or unintentionally comedic... I hope, at least. Another risk would be Hungry Like the Wolf, as I don't usually write explicit sex. It was fairly strange to post that publicly, but the feedback I got from it was heartening.
Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
Finish Yield for Nothing, Work In Progress, and get a couple more chapters of This Sweet Madness.
My Favorite Story:
It's a toss-up between This Sweet Madness and Yield for Nothing
My Best Story:
After much deliberation, I'd guess This Sweet Madness. It's more "complete" right now, and has the tightest writing.
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe:
Let me go on record as saying that I HATE this question. But as I can't get myself to edit it out of the meme just cause I don't like it...
Well. This IS a little snotty, and I apologize for that, but my answer is going to have to be Sometimes. Not because people didn't like it, but because I keep getting the "what did he do" questions, when it was stated in the story itself what he did. XD Which makes me wonder if I'm still too wordy, or people just skim through and decide that they liked the story anyway? Or else the writing is way too subtle. I dunno.
Most Fun:
From a comedic standpoint, Work in Progress, which was meant to be something of a comedy. (albeit with some serious themes.) Most fun to write has to go to the Sprite and Vodka drabble, though.
Most Disappointing:
As the World Falls Down. While I like some of what I have, a good section of it is just terrible writing. It's rushed, it falls short, it has a thousand unanswered questions... And I really have no inclination to fix it.
Most Sexy and Best Sexy Moment:
Hungry Like the Wolf
Hardest to Write:
Yield for Nothing, hands down. While it's getting easier the further I go, the beginning was pulling teeth. I'll have to go back and re-write it, eventually.
Most Unintentionally Telling
Probably As the World Falls Down, for the same reasons that I don't like it. I was trying to cram a multi-chapter story into something bite-sized, and it didn't work.
