You've Got A Friend.
For those of you who have been wondering where i've been (your ranks surely rank at around zero) I am now in the employ of yet another heartless corporate beast. This time it is the lovely people at the Automotive Association who have gainfully offered me work. My job consists of offering "customer service" to AA members. Then the sales pitch. I have to try and sell loans, AA breakdown cover, home insurance. The works. Its awful. And yet alot of the people there seem to driven. They really do think its a (to quote the myriad motivational posters on the wall) 'great place to work.' Its a fucking call centre with bells on! I guess money and bonuses are a big deal for some people. They become obssessed with targets and sales pitches.
I've lasted longer here than I did in my last job, saying that. Although it seems i've already been marked down as a workshy fopp. I mus'nt be a very good actor...
