Saturday: A little retail therapy
I went to work not as tired as I expected, and had an OK day. I got an error and my supervisor got on my nerves. It was her birthday and I think she was being bitchy because she didn't want to be at work. WHATever! I asked her to help me with my direct deposit, again, and she was so rude about it. "Call thi number to fix yours password" I say, "I already did." she says, call again. No offers to help or anything, screw you then. I I'm going to ask someone on dayshift to help me and when they ask why I didn't ask you I'm going to say that I did but you were of NO help to me.
Other then that work went ok. I got out and Mercy picked me up because she wanted to go to Old Navy. When I got in the car she said she was hungry and suggested Panera, sounded good to me so we went. I had the same roast turkey sandwich I had last time but this time I had baked potato soup. I also bought a mini pineapple upside-down cake which was goood.
Full of food we went to Old Navy. My mom had said something about them having $1 scarves and sure enough all the pro-fleece scarves were $1, limit 5 per customer! They had sooo many cute designs, it was hard to pick just 5. We went at 12 and the supplies were getting lower, I bet by 5pm they were only going to have like 1 or two colors.
5 scarves for $5!!
There was a tank top I liked last time but resisted. Well, it was still there and they only had 1 left in my size so I figured it was a sign! I looove the colors, I have a few pairs of earrings that it would look really cute with.
In the sale area I found a metallic blue bikini bottom for .97 cents. I loved the color...no clue when I'm going to use it but for 97 cents?? It can afford to sit in a drawer for awhile. =p
After that we went to Petco because they were having pet adoptions and we just wanted to look. The cats were way cuter then the dogs they had. I would've taken ALL of them if I could. *sigh* if you were looking for a smaller dog they had some cute ones, but we really have our heart set on a Rotti.
After that we went to Kaiser in Montebello cause I wanted to pick up a perscription...I didn't think it'd be CLOSED. Ugh. I'm so pissed that I have to go to that Kaiser because baldwin park "wasn't taking new patients" I'm not even NEW! ugh Next time I'll have my RX filled at Baldwin Park pharmacy, theirs is 24 hours every day!!
The mall is right across the way and we both wanted to go to Hot Topic. I finally got my Spongebob earrings. I need some smaller everyday pairs because I get tired of wearing my original ones. These were a natural choice. :) I also bought some rubberbands with stars for like 50 cents.
Came home, stood up too long because I wanted to see the results of the Alabama/LSU game. Alabama refs are cheaters!!! ugh =/ Went to bed at 3:30 and never woke up for boombox. *sigh* Oh well, Mercy wasn't too keen on going anyway.
