Your appreciation went directly to my heart! At last a person of good taste and right sense! How does it come I have such difficulties to find people interested in my favourite pairing? (I assume that Napoleon and Illya are off competition).

We've simply never had the Pros series here in the U.S. Judging from the amount of Pros fic out there, I'm sure many would appreciate the show if they got the chance.

I was joking (bitterly); this pairing (Bodie/Cowley, the Old Man and his young agent) is almost anathema among the "Pros" fans (there are more than you could think in the States too) who worship the OTP Bodie/Doyle. There was a small group of B/C writers long ago but they moved to other fandoms and I was unable to stir any new interest from them. That's a pity, really, for the weird pairing is so rich in psychological, moral, social and political issues! And Gordon Jackson, in spite of his age, so much more attractive than Martin Shaw (who is a jerk, imho). If you read the old classic "pros" fictions in "crack_van, you'll find a treasure of good literature, but no B/C stories, except those I recced myself.
