The Upside of Anger

I saw the movie, The Upside of Anger, over the weekend and wondered if any of the writers among you had seen it.

Spoilers ahead.

The entire story involves an assumption that none of us question, and the characters don't question it either. The opening scene shows us a funeral, then flashes back three years. We chase red herrings throughout the movie about the identity of the body in the coffin, but there are many other layers to the story. On the whole, a very satisfying tale.

The initial assumption and its conclusion was a brilliant plot device IMHO. Discussion anyone?
