The Five Crushes Affair

Feb 07, 2005 12:39

Di has asked her friends to post their five crushes from childhood/teen years. Here goes:

5 years old: Richard Greene in the Robin Hood TV series. I was Maid Marian.

7 years old: Flint McCullough in Wagon Train. Robert Horton was GORGEOUS.

9 years old: James Garner in Maverick. This crush inspired me to beg to see The Great Escape. (Little did I know that another person in that movie was going to be significant to my life when I was--gasp--55! Who would live that long?) This was a sign of things to come, however, because I was attracted to the fact that Bret Maverick had a brother, Bart, and there was a lot of nice banter and affection there.

14 years old: THE BEATLES THE BEATLES THE BEATLES. Paul for cute, John for deep.

AND, of course, our favorite UNCLE agents.

Whenever: The whole Star Trek thing. There again, the slash angle. It didn't stay with me like MFU has, though.

Okay, I have to stop there because I'd no longer be in my teens if I continued. So I won't speak of Robert Redford and Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. :)
