Back to work
First day back to work today. Surprisingly it wasn't that bad. I only had one bad customer in the whole time I was there. She got pissed at me because something wasn't on sale so she brought me the sign and it was the wrong sign for the item she wanted. Sometimes I wonder how these people can even tie their shoes in the morning because they are so dumb. There are a lot of new people working with me now and all of them think I am new. Jessica and I went around today and did everything faster than everyone else and knew more than everyone else and they were all like "what..... how do they know how to do that?" It's fun pissing people off like that. I only work 3 days this week although I work Christmas Eve but that's not bad, it makes the time fly by and then it makes Christmas Day actually come faster!
Yesterday Emily, Lara, Perry and I all went to the casinos. Lara's aunt took us to eat and then gave us money to spend in the arcade. The 4 of us went through almost $100 in like an hour! But we did get over 2,000 tickets that we are going to save and get a big fun prize. I did get a little annoyed when my game was spitting out tickets and this little brat came by and ate the damn thing! That was at Mohegan. Then we went to Foxwoods to play bingo because it was only $5! It was fun. Lara's aunt won a game by herself and got $500 for it! That was so exciting!
Going back a couple more days...... Saturday was the Christmas party for my moms side. It wasn't that bad this year. My cousin Rob had a 14 day leave from Iraq so I got to see him which was nice. He has to go back there again which kinda sucks but it's good in the end. He doesn't like people who are against the war and after talking to someone who is witnessing it first hand, I have to say I agree with him. I really think people need to watch the news all the time and have a full understanding of what is going on over there before they can say whether they agree with it or not. Taking a side before knowing all the facts and not watching the news to find out the new information is just plain ignorant. Know ALL the facts before taking a side.
I'm enjoying being home, wish I could be here all the time. It's so nice having a whole house to live in rather than one small room. Having my own room is so nice! I like being able to see my friends whenever I want is nice too. It's just so relaxing to be home and not having to worry about tests, papers, or projects for a whole month! But this break is going not going to be much of a break. I still have some homework to do for my nursing class which sucks. I have a lot of cleaning and rearranging to do since all my stuff that was in my brothers room is now back in my room. And I'll be working all break too but not to much, only about 20-25 hours a week which is just enough. And I'm sure I'll be going out every night just like last break and be exhausted by the time I go back to school. But oh well it's still fun!!!
