Aggrivated
I am really fucking aggrivated with the new 93.1 DOUG FM. They say that they play 'everything'. I got news for you. THEY DON'T. Basically they play classic rock, oldies, and alternitive. Since when did that become everything? IT DIDN'T! Heres a list of 'everything' that basically DOUG does not play:
1.Christian. I have never heard one cristian song on that station. Although, I know a few christian songs, the only band I ever listen to is switchfoot.
2.Rock. I have not heard Sublime, Sum 41, Chevelle or even classic Nirvana for that matter. What the hell is wrong with that staion? HOW BOUT A LITTLE DROPKCIK MURPHEYS FOR PETES SAKE!
3.Indie rock/emo. I know a lot of indie rock is never played but come on, sometimes I just wanna listen to Abandonded Pools or Bright Eyes. Even Fall Out Boy would be well sought after in my opinion.
4.Hard core gangster rap. No Tupac? No Bone Thugs n Harmony? Come On! I love em'.
5.Rap/Hip Hop. I <3 Luda and Ciara. They sure as hell never play them. Why should they? They're not 'everything'?
6.Techno. I lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee BT. I have not come across a person that loves BT. NObodys ever listened to him. His songs are not all techno-y. I seriously even got KELLEY to like one of the songs. What about Daft Punk too? I can reccomend to techno songs that have no words that you may like. More than Human by Daft Punk and Star Guitar by the Chemical Brothers.
7.Country. I love a good country song now and then. A little Montgomery Gentry here a little Rascal Flats there...we all need a little country in our life people.
8.Metal. Its okay but its the least listened to for me out of everything. I have not heard one Slipknot or ICP song. Not that thats too much of a bad thing.
9.Punk- No Sid Vicious? No Casualties? Hmmm...
I don't get how people can only like one genre of music. Whats even more confusing to me is how they hate others. Maybe I'm just wierd but if I like a song I'll listen to it. I think a lot of people don't like things because they assume they don't. I bet if you acctually listened to a counrty or a rap station for a day, I'd bet you'd find at least one song you'd like. I mean of course there a genres that you like better than others. Same with bands. But come on just don't assume.
If you ever wanna listen to something good, you can borrow or burn my Emotional Technology cd. From BT. Probably his best cd. Not all of his songs sound like "beep beep" acctually none of then do. Some are acctually more rockish, some are techno, one sounds accoustic. I mean you never know until you try.
And I hate when people call "Good Riddence" "Time of your Life" especially when they claim it to be their favorite song. If its your favorite song...learn the fucking name please.
