i made a happy aussie day entry and totally forgot to tell y'all what i did yesterday! silly aph *headdesk*
soooo even though we woke up and it was all overcast and shit (but i think at 7am in the morning, every day looks like that) we decided to go to Clontarf Beach (near mosman/north shore etc). we being me and my cousins and aunts and uncles and stuff. fun!
i love clontarf, its so pretty (pictures to come). every time we'd go as kids we'd play this game where we'd point out houses saying which ones we wanted. except like, we still do that. its a tad depressing as the houses are amazingly beautiful and our pact to "get rich and buy a yacht and house and live on the north shore" seems a little out of reach atm. but anyway.
it was lots of fun, BEAUTIFUL weather, and apart from not being able to listen to the JJJ hottest 100, the day was pretty much perfect. i got quite burnt which should tan nicely. after we spent the day bumming, we went home, showered and got ready again on short notice as we were invited to a dinner party. this family lives at huntleys point or something and live in a massive beautiful house and we sat out on the terrace overlooking the water with the harbour bridge in the distance eating gourmet food and drinking champagne. hello, this is the good life. my cousin and i (who i also spent the day with) bonded lots and talked til we could talk no more. it was extremely fun.
