I talked to Farah yesterday, and that was cool. I'l probably go to visit her in early December at school. I also have every intention of seeing Sami after January, maybe he'll be in the mood to accompany me while I get a tattoo. He makes a good hand-holder. Ok, maybe not. When I was getting my belly-button pierced he was staring with this rapt look on his face, or maybe it was awe... Either way, it was very hard to lie still when for all I knew (by the look on Sami's face) the guy was pulling an elephant out of my belly-button.
I haven't really talked to any of the away group. It seems that some people can't even be bothered to visit or call while they're in town. I have no patience for people who don't have the time. I also have no intention of wasting money to call long distance for people who don't seem to give a shit. This is my rant, I'm sorry, but it's gotta be said.
There's this thing at school, turnitin.com, and some profs are trying to make it mandatory. It's a slightly suspicious plagarism checker. I don't trust it. But our professors seem to love it. The effort needed to catch cheaters has dropped significantly. Let's all get excited while signing over the legal right to our work. No thanks bud. Grrr, administration bothers me immensely.
