Update - 1 week old!

Friday: munch fun.  We discussed the level of crazy in the scene, found it was more efficient to try and find a non-crazy dom than go through all the crazy doms.

Saturday: cleaned the house, including handwashing the floors, washed my car for the first time by myself, planted a few more veggies (eggplant, corn, tomatoes, beans - and something keeps digging up the seeds), and Heather brought the girls over for dinner.  I made a roast, she brought over the potatoes & carrots from St. Patrick's Day dinner, and we had a carpet picnic.  After dinner and petting Tito for a while, I took a bath with the girls - Bella just wants to use all my tub gadgets like my pumice stone, and sophie had a death grip on a Tinkerbell.  They got into their jammies, and played a bit more, then left to go nigh-nite at home.

I was going to go out on Saturday night, but it got too late, and I punked out.  I think I knew I wasn't going when I didn't put my makeup on - you know I'm not going to SF without makeup!

Tuesday: Bounce house place in Belmont with Bella & Sophie - so much fun!  That was a workout and a half

Friday:  Sleepover with Bella was awesome, but the actual sleep part didn't work - I took her home for her bedtime

Saturday: Bella's last ballet class, Heather & Bella met me at my house, then we walked to the Red Morton Community Center.  Heather took off afterwards, and Bella & I played, planted some stuff, chased the dogs and watched Little Mermaid

Movies I've watched recently:

Invention of Lying - enh.
Percy Jackson & Lightning Thief - better than I expected.  I look forward to the inevitable sequels.

Spartacus - TV series, watched the first 2 episodes.  Great cinematography, and the story isn't half bad.

Ninja Assassin - ugh. Turned if off after the 17th blood bath.

Cop Out - I think I expect a new Clerks with every Kevin Smith movie.  This one wasn't up to even mediocre standards.

Legion - for a horror movie, it wasn't too bad.  I didn't have to watch through my fingers, but the story was only so-so.

Alice in Wonderland - the amount of hype for this movie was so huge, I think I would have been disappointed if Walt Disney came back from the dead and had sex with Johnny Depp on-camera.  (Ok, maybe not.)  Maybe I'll like it in future viewings.

Shutter Island - A better story than I thought, and more than I expected from Leonardo Dicaprio.

Informant - not bad, better than I thought.

Leaves of Grass - wow, that's one crazy movie.  Edward Norton as twins, one a redneck, one a brilliant geek. I'm in heaven!

Godfather Trilogy - of course I've watched them, but not all in a row. Great as always.

Pretty Baby - rewatch, a great movie.  People get all up in arms about it, when it's just showing another way people live.

Archer - fucking crack, amazing show! "Put it back in the deck...."

Dark Victory - overacting, sure, but Bette Davis is always awesome.

Marked Woman - Wow, really young Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, and the guy from Miracle on 34th Street, I think.

Norma Jean & Marilyn -rewatch, great dramatic retelling of the crazy that must have been leaking out of Marilyn's brain all the time.

Searchers - good, for a John Wayne movie.  I don't normally don't do westerns, but it was something on in the background.

friends, munch, movies, update, family
