Altered Plans for Today
Rain is awesome for staying in, but bad for venturing out!
Friday, I had Bella all day, but was mobile with her; Herher and I switched cars for the day. We went shopping all day, trekked over the bridge to visit Herher and get Bella's grub on, then back to my house for domesticity. She didn't sleep all afternoon, and I ended up holding her for close to 4 hours straight. My arms are like putty today. I didn't get as much stuff done as I was hoping, but I guess that's what happens with kidlets. Damn, they're a lot of work!
I made a 7 layer dip thingie with beans, cheese, olives, etc - so good, but it's gonna last me forever, it's so filling! Looks like I'm set for lunch for.....ever.
Oh, but that wasn't enough for me - I made pumpkin banana bread from scratch, in both mini snowman-shaped loaves and cake-sized, and cinnamon apple oatmeal, currently in the crockpot. When that's done, I'm gonna make sweet rice and cream.
Edit: OMG, the oatmeal is sooooo good!
