what a splendid weekend it was. my buddy terry that i grew up with in Cleveland came to visit me for the first time since i moved to michigan ( i cant beleive it will be 3 years this fall since we moved here ).

needless to say it was just what i needed... a little hometown comfort. the last time i saw him was when my old band played in Cleveland in november..... and its amazing how you can go months without seeing someone and pick up right where you left off.

highlights of the weekend-
- long talks with a dear friend
- driving 4 hours to find a tigers hat
- buring a ton of cds i wanted
- hugs
- NRL fest
- BLC playing the best set i've seen them play yet
- seeing eric, jay, ally, carter, matt, jeff, colin, nrl, dan, and shane
- having my mind off things for awhile
- knowing terry is one of the few people that understands me
- being grateful for a few good friends

downsides-
- wanting to go home and see my boyfriend and realizing he's a zillion miles away
- being around a bunch of 14 year olds that dont bathe at nrl fest
- not seeing kris
- being frusterated with my hair.... not sure if i should keep growing it out or chop it back off
