my dilemma- i had an 8mm sharp viewcam for many years but it broke over the summer.... i went and bought a new canon mini DV (digital) video camera which i fucking loooove BUT since my sharp viewcam broke abruptly i had no way to convert my 8mm tapes onto VHS anymore...

i need help. i'm trying to find someone that has a video camera that is 8mm or high8...... and i know SOMEONE out there has to have one, or has a friend or family member with one...
im hoping to borrow the camera for either a few hours or a day to convert my tapes ( i have like 7 of the 8mm tapes or so ) onto VHS..... in turn for the use of your camera i give you two choices, i will either let you borrow my beautiful digital video camera... or i will give you a few bucks for the use of your camera.....
PLEAAAAASE please pleaaaaase ask around if you know someone.... it would mean a lot to me to have these tapes on VHS so i can watch them... some date back to before my grandma died and i would really like to have them......
