Memories, like embers, keep us warm.

So I'm completely slacking with my updates. I can't help it. I've been incredibly busy with work and life things.

Oh, and I have strep throat.

Again.

It's pretty severe, but I think the worst part is over now. My tonsils are still ridiculously swollen and icky looking, but my fever finally broke. I'm back at work today, hopefully not contaminating anyone else.

March was probably the busiest month I've had in awhile. I put about 1,800 miles on my car.

Told you I've been busy.

But April is looking much, much better. Next week I'm going to my state association meeting in Covington and the week after that I'm going to another new agent thing in Lexington for a few days.

This new job is fun and I definitely can't say its boring.

I got an issue of this photography magazine I used to read a lot when I took all those photography classes in college.

I really, really, really miss spending time in the darkroom. It was so, so soothing. If I ever build a house, I'd love to have a tiny little makeshift darkroom in a basement or something. Until then, I'm going to have to locate one around here, and beg someone to let me use it sometime. Or buy some equipment and turn the closet in my office into one.

I'd really like to do some work with toy cameras. I'm just not sure where I could get the film developed around here if I didn't have the facilities to do it myself.

Anyway.

Spring is nearly here and I can't remember ever being so excited about warm weather. I think it's the possibilities I feel looming on the horizon.

Don't wake me up
I am still dreaming
The story's undone
