It's a marshmellow world in the winter.
So I should probably update. It's been a while. Significant career changes have occurred.
I really adored working at the Salyersville Independent, but I received another terrific offer I couldn't turn down. So today was my last day at the newspaper.
Starting January 2, I'll be one of two Pike County 4-H Extension Agents for Youth Development. The pay and benefits are just plain ridiculous (in the best sort of way.) So, we'll see how that goes. I'm most excited about going back to camp, haha.
Anyway, our house is decked to the hilt and I have about 30 presents (or more) to wrap. I should get to it.

I promise I haven't forgotten you. The store where I'd planned on getting your gift has moved. :( Also, avoid Lexington manhole covers on freezing cold nights. I learned this the hard way. I'll tell you the story sometime.
