My summer so far has been pretty good. I moved into Springfield, I love my room. It's nice to finally have my own room and not have to sleep on the couch all summer and get ready in the icky basement. I've been at work for two weeks now, and although there are times I want to shoot myself from the boredom, I'd forgotten just how much I loved the people out there. I'm really the only girl out there with a bunch of high school kids or old (sometimes creepy) guys. There's a few that are around my age, and one of them is definitely hot, but all-in-all, I love my job. I have WAY too much down time everyday, but hey, that just gives me more time to read. But I do have to say that yesterday was the worse day so far, minus one really funny episode. First, to explain what happened that morning, let's back track to Friday afternoon. I was sitting in Mary's office when Al and Justin came in. Al asked me if I was going to stay after work and rive Justin around. I said sure, and Al told Justin that would work so that he wasn't waiting on the perms. Then, yesterday morning Al told me that I couldn't stay late without clearing it with him first. I just said okay, but I was thinking, you asked me if I wanted to stay!!! Whatever, fuck it, it's not worth it. And that was only the start of the day. After lunch, I went out on the golf cart to pick-up trash, and long and behold guess what happened. the fucking golf cart ran out of gas!!! I was more embarrassed than anything, but it still added wonderfully to my day. But to make up for it all was the incident at lunch. Some of the guys found a frog and wanted to put it in Henry's lunch. They didn't know which one was his so they just guessed. Well, of course they guessed wrong and by the time the kid got it out of the frig, the frog was dead. So then they get the idea of microwaving it. Yes, they actually put a dead frog in the microwave for three minutes. It began to smell and when it finished, the frog looked like it would have if it had been run over. It was kinda gross, but overall absolutely hilarious. I really love my boys. They make everyday out there worth it.
