families are great

In the course of a lifetime, who are the people who matter? If we really sit down and ponder who the people in our lives really mean to us are we often become consumed with emotion.

Here's how I see it.

Above and beyond family matters. While you may not think of that second cousin or that third aunt as the main members of yoru family unit that mean the world to you, you def think of the people who gave you life. And that is your parents.

I really and truly believe that I am so blessed. To my parents I mean the world. They proved that to me when they recently visited Charlottetown. Well, I did all ready know that I ment the world to them, but I guess the once again reinforced the point. Anyway, they drove 16 hours just to see me. And they brought 2 other very special people.

As I showed my parents around my apartment they smiled brightly and laughed at my brightly colored room. A few moments later there was a knock at my door. Curious as to who it could be I opened it to find my favorite Aunt Laurie standing in my door way. I screamed, cried, and gave her a hug. As I showed her around my brightly colored apartment there was another knock at the door.

And there she was, Miss Brittany Tosh.

Over comed by suprise I once again threw my arms around her. We went into the living room and as I looked around I realized how much my family and friends love me. Or wait, it may of been because of the free trip to PEI tho lol.

The next few days were jammed packed with my graduation from the college poriton of my degree, shopping, going on a tour of the Ch'town harbor, a fabulous yet embaressing dinner out, a night at Peaks, and hanging out by the wharf.

What a wonderful and memorable couple of days.

And hopefully a memorable week home. I will be arriving in Carleton Place July 18. Get ready CP crew, cause here I come!

Hope your all doing well. See you soon!
