Just outside the TARDIS - Afternoon

Jane has dragged her folding chair back outside to enjoy the day. Her time in camp has given Jane a rather interesting view on what is "nice weather to sit outside"... The addition of some whiskey doesn't hurt the situation either.

There is, in fact, a bottle in one hand, and a book in the other.

River had taken a walk into town, and took the road past the TARDIS in the hope that Jane might be about. Which she was.

"Hello," she said. "They go together?"

Jane thought briefly of kissing the Doctor in the Perk, then arguing with the Doctor in the Perk, then making out with the Doctor in a room full of plastic playground balls, then going to some place called "The Big Bang Burger Bar and having a really great steak...

"Fine."

A wide grin appeared on River's face. "Good. Plastic balls can be useful." She wouldn't have minded making out with Blair in a room full of plastic balls.

"Oh," River said. "Blair and I visited Ivanova on Babylon 5. That's a space station." She looked into her bag and dug out a small keyring with something attached. "I got you this. It's a model of the station."

Jane held the thing up to get a close look at it.

"What's the ring thingy for? ...Oh, and I got something for you."

"You put keys on it. But I got it for the model," River said. "But it might be useful for keys."

"Something for me?" she asked, grinning.

"Yeah hold on." Jane went into the TARDIS and came out a few moments later with a fiddle.

"I don't know why... But I saw this and thought of you."
