Awesome Weekend!
I had an awesome weekend but was not ready to come back to work today...
Friday: Standard work half day, make plans to get stuff done over the weekend and relax during the afternoon. Dinner was beef stew that had been simmering in the crock pot and fresh hot cornbread. Very yummy!
Saturday: Busy, Busy, Busy! I slept in a little bit but then it was time to get started on The Plan (registered trademark). Tim & I cleaned out my car... if you have ever seen the inside of my car, you know that is an accomplishment! I found, on the floor of the back seat, a friend's Archery Medal that I was to deliver a year and a half ago!! I was sure I had lost it for good! Saturday evening we took other friends up to AFK Tavern in Everett. It was noisier then usual but still a lot of fun playing Poo and Zombie Dice while waiting for food! I love that place!
Sunday: Not quite as busy as Saturday... took stuff that had been in my car for a month to the storage unit, went for a walk in the sunshine (loved that) and visited yet another friend that had surgery recently. We received a gift of a loaf of homemade bread and a promise of pound cake (my favorite) from the friends that went to AFK with us! YUM!
I got to knit a few rows each day, nowhere near my desired amount but I am working my way back up there.
