The Weekend in Review
Friday: Since I only work half a day on Fridays I came home this week and took a lovely nap. I should have tried to get stuff done, but the nap was what was needed! Spent the evening watching The Big Bang Theory on Netflix (love Netflix)!
Saturday: Slept in a little bit cause I knew it was going to be a long day then ran around like crazy doing the stuff I should have done on Friday... Arrived at Harvest Feast a little later then planned but still in time to get put to work in the kitchen! Chatted with the_thread_lady for a few minutes, then back to the kitchen to get ready for serving. Presented Baroness Elspeth with five pairs of handwarmers, a cast iron turtle (along with other people, there were many cast iron turtles) and a small ceramic turtle coming out of his shell. Served a lovely feast, had dinner with the kitchen crew after everyone else ate, helped clean the kitchen and still was home by 11!!! Great day and great event!!
Sunday: Slept in again... breakfast out with my Sweetie then off to fight practice. Inside was a knitting social so I got more progress done on the start of holiday presents. Home again to sort laundry (which my sweetie said he would wash today); then watched Firefly and relaxed for the evening!
