Happy Valentine's Day!!
I love my boyfriend. :)
He came up to visit me today for an hour and a half before he had to go back to work. I am so glad I got to see him. I'm also estatic that I'm with someone as wonderful as him for Valentine's Day. I feel so blessed to have him in my life.
What a wonderful Valentine's Day...and we haven't even really celebrated it yet.
P.S. Here's a bit from a post before Valentine's Day last year.
Therefore, the day before Valentine's Day, I am resigning myself to staghood, singledom, and independence for as long as it takes to find the right guy, which may be forever as far as I know. It really, really sucks, but I really don't have much choice in this. If I truly want to be happy, I cannot go out there and expect all of my dreams to come true when I expect them. If it's going to happen, it will. If it's not, it won't. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm becoming extremely pessimistic, but all of the optimism I had after I broke up with Blaine about 7 months ago has gone out of the window. It's really sad to me when I wish I could have back what I gave up so firmly and resulutely, but then again, I gave it up thinking I'd have something better. I'm still waiting. I guess my answer is that being single is the better alternative.
I look back at this post and think about how lucky I feel right now. I especially agree with the part that I did not find someone until I wasn't expecting it. Now I know I have found that right guy, and it's amazing.
