Quiet Weekend...

So, it was a quiet weekend for me. I pretty much watched netflix movies all weekend long. I saw The Island which was entertaining. I have to say that the whole cloning thing bothered me, but not enough to boycott the movie like some crazy people. At first it seems like no one cares that there are clones out there who people kill for body parts, but then you find out Sean Bean (the head dr.) lied to people about that. He tells people that the clones are never awoken and remain in a state of sleep. It didn't upset me that much, it just sort of struck a nerve. I'm not much into the whole cloning thing. I understand stemcell research, but cloning?? Don't we already have starving people and war? Do we need to add more to that...
I also saw Hustle and Flow and Kinsey. Both were very good. I had no idea I was going to get a full frontal of Peter Sarsgaard in Kinsey. I also can't believe that after this movie people are making a fuss about Brokeback Mountain. Neither bother me, but I barely heard any outburst over Kinsey last year. I also almost died when another comment was made in the movie. It was soooo funny. At least to me. I'll let you guys watch and guess which one it was.
I still need to see Matchpoint, A Good Woman, and Transamerica.
OOOOOHHHHHH!!!!! I almost forgot. The Discovery Channel aired "Grizzly Man" this weekend and I got to see it. I thought it was awesome and you should definitely catch it. I really respected this guy. I can understand how some people didn't connect with him, because he was a bit eccentric, but I give him props for doing what he did and it's really sad that he died by the hands of the creatures he loved, but hey that's the circle of life.
