It's been awhile since I posted just here!  But, I decided that I'm going to use dreamwidth for my reviews (which will port here) and only post more personal stuff here.  Not that this is particularly personal, but!  Yay, music.

So, my oldest really wants a 'Lost Girls in Fairyland' birthday party, and instead of gifts, she wants donations for a local book charity (which is run by a woman I know in memory of her daughter, a former teacher at my kids' school, who passed away).  When she asks for things like this, I tend to do my best to give her whatever she wants.  (In this case, it's a sooj  and yuki_onna concert/reading, which may or may not be possible.  My fingers are crossed!)  She's seen enough youtube videos of house parties that she knows (or thinks) she'd get to pick the playlist, and this is what she came up with.  It makes me very, very happy.

April Fools' Day (Her birthday is April third, and she's loved that song since the first time she heard it; Sooj and Betsy Tinney played it in the hallway for her at ConFusion last year and she still talks about it - I don't know that she'll ever stop.)
The Wendy Trilogy (hence the 'lost girls' part)
September's Rhyme (and 'Fairyland')
Cheshire Kitten
Witchka (She is my little witchka, for sure)
Ravens in the Library
Salad of Doom
Ship Full of Monsters
Firebird's Child
Rabbit's Song
Were-Owl
Storm
Lady Vagabond

It's a really great playlist.  She just puts them in shuffle, but if you go to skinnywhitechick, you can find them and listen in any order you like.  April Fools' Day, Firebird's Child and Rabbit's Song are on Blessings.  The Wendy Trilogy, Storm and Lady Vagabond are on Sirens.  September's Rhyme, Cheshire Kitten, Witchka, Ravens in the Library, Salad of Doom and Were-Owl are on Mischief.  And Ship Full of Monsters is on Songs for the Girl in the Garden.  Enjoy, if you go check it out!
