Switch Witch Questions (Thanks to Scotchgrrl!)

Jun 23, 2009 19:16

These will be updated as I remember to check Scotchgrrl's list and answer them, though I'll also answer the ones that catch my eye on the BPAL forums.  Read only if you're interested in finding out about a bunch of random things I'm interested in.  =D

What are your favorite types of baked goods? How would you feel about candied citrus peel, chocolate-covered or not? Would you be interested in the mix version of the baked goods or perhaps a spice mix, something along those lines?  I love pretty much anything baked, though I make a lot of cookies myself.  So, I'd say probably bread or something, I suppose - there's a recipe for something called Ethiopian honey bread that I adore and it goes famously with both tea and coffee and makes fantastic toast.  And yes, i love spice mixes, and rubs, and viniagrettes and marinades and that sort of thing.  Fantastic idea!
Have you found any new loves since the beginning of the round that you wished you'd known to include on your questionnaire?  Nope, not really.
***7/12***
Question...do you fret or take it personally when your witch or witchee gets too quiet? Like they figured you out and don't like you?  Can't say I do - or at least not for that reason.  I'm a fretful sort of person to begin with, so I worry that maybe things aren't going well or something happened or whatever, and hope it didn't and try to send good thoughts/energy in that general direction.
Do you try to figure out who your witch is? Do you want your witch to give you clues? If I were given clues, I'd try - I haven't been in either round I've been in on yet, and it doesn't bother me.  I just wait and hope for a reveal at the end.  =D
Who has a Kindle? If you do, would you like a Kindle gift card, Kindle accessories, etc. as a gift? Whadda you need?  I want a Kindle badly, so very, very badly.  But along those lines, I'd love a gift card to an ebook store; there are a few I like in specific that are highly anti-DRM and such.  Checking on Smart Bitches will get you links to quite a few of them.
What about other electronics (Blackberries, iPhone, etc.)? Do you need any accessories, etc. for those? I have a Samsung Rant cell phone, an 8gig iPod nano, and two different digital cameras.  Actually . . . a camera bag for the digital SLR would be awesome.
***7/8***
I've recently been listening to Rasputina's 'O Perilous World' album and am particularly enamored by '1816: the Year Without a Summer'. So I'd like to know if my witchee likes Rasputina, and would like any music by them?  I'm only passingly familiar with Rasputina, though I like what I've heard well enough and as I've mentioned in other questions, I like being introduced to new things.
***7/3-5***
Do you play any musical instruments? Which ones? If not, are there any you'd like to learn? What styles of music do you play, and are you interested in learning any different styles? My first instrument was violin - I was three.  I played that until fifth grade, when I took up flute, and I played that all the way through high school.  At one point, I could play fifteen or so different instruments, not counting voice/choir.  Most of it was marching band or orchestral type, but I also pick things up by ear really quickly, so with the flute there was a fair amount of Jethro Tull-type stuff and medieval stuff.
Are you partial to any kind of comedy? Oh, goodness.  Mostly the old kind - Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, the Three Stooges, the Marx Brothers, etc.  Or British - Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, and so forth.  Not a big fan of spoofs of other things (ie Scary Movie or Not Another Teen Movie) or gross out comedy, though I love the first two American Pie movies.  Something about red-headed flute players at band camp, I suppose.  =D
What did you do for the 4th and/or the holiday weekend? There were three different picnics/BBQs, though the one that was most fun was with friends and water balloons on Sunday.  Usually we have fireworks and a birthday party for a friend who was born on the fourth, but they were supposed to be out of town for the weekend and we'd already made plans by the time they were sure they wouldn't be.
Partials, samples, sniffies? Sure!  Sniffies I usually sniff and pass on, though.
Have you read anything by China Mieville, Neil Gaiman or Charles de Lint? If so, what? Like/dislike...?? A lot of Gaiman, a little de Lint, no Mieville.  Lots of love in the first two cases.
Other than books/cds/dvds are there any "things" that you collect or symbols which you have an affinity for?
Do you like musicals? What have you seen? What do you want to see? Any you'd like to own? Oh, goodness.  I used to volunteer at a college theater, so I've seen a lot (and been in a lot, for that matter), though not in a good while.  Annie, Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Phantom, RENT, Les Miserables, Man of La Mancha, Godspell, Sweeny Todd, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, um . . . more, I'm sure, but I can't remember off the top of my head.  I have the movie version of Superstar and soundtracks of most that I know I like, but I'm always into being introduced to more.
What are your thoughts on J.R.R. Tolkein? Can't say I'm a fan.  It took me nearly a year to read the Hobbit and I never made it all the way through Fellowship of the Ring.
If you answered that you would like recipes, are there any national or ethnic cuisines you prefer or don't prefer? Nope!  Like in anything else, I like trying new things.
What's your favorite summer activity? Reading (or napping) in the shade while my kids play.
Would you like a recipe booklet (homemade) for homemade smoothies and shakes? Ooh, yes, very much so.
What's your favorite vacation spot? Heh, I can count on one hand the proper 'vacations' I've been on in my 30 years.  That said . . . maybe up north on Lake Michigan or Lake Charlevoix, or Cedar Point.
Would you like anything nostalgic? Things you loved from their childhood or maybe things you've always loved that were from a time before your own? Sure!  I'm a big fan of 80's-90's cartoons/kids shows.  Fraggles, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Carebears, He-Man, all of it.
***7/2***
What styles of jewelry do you like? Bold and funky? Delicate and dainty? Short necklaces, long ones, chokers? Bracelets or anklets? I don't wear a ton of jewelry, usually, so it depends on what it's for.  I like short to middling length necklaces, though - not chokers and not hiding in my cleavage either.  Other than that . . . yeah, it depends on the occasion and the outfit.
Does my witchee like hats, a floppy summer sun hat or something more stylish? Would you like a hand knit cap or hat? I mostly don't like hats, actually - but I love the newsboy caps and the links that people posted make me want new ones.
What kind of shopper are you? Do you make a budget? Planner, or compulsive? Do you like to buy what's new, special offers, only the usual? I'm very much an impulse shopper, so I have to be very careful not to buy when there's no money for the stuff I latch onto.  Perfume, movies, music, books . . . yeah.  When it comes to stuff we need, though, I'm good at budgeting and planning for the most part, unless there's a really cute shirt/outfit/whatever that OMG THE KIDS NEED THAT.  Heh.
***7/1***
Non-melting candies....what are your favorites? I don't have any particular favorites, but I tend to like ones that are sweet on the outside and sour on the inside.  Ooh, and I lied.  I love Everlasting Gobstoppers.  And tea candies (and I'm now dying to try the coffee kind).
What are you happiest about (besides SW)? What makes you feel good this summer? Any summer?  My third baby is due in less than six weeks.  Yay for pregnancy being almost done!  And summer . . . is kind of hard to make me feel good during, actually, though my mood itself is much better than in winter.  I'm super sun-sensitive and break out in hives if I'm exposed overly much to it, and I don't take well to heat either, so things are complicated!  This is not to say that I'm unhappy about summer or anything, just that it's not my favorite time of year.  I'm a winter, spring and fall kind off girl.
Do you like coffee and/or wine? Oh gods yes, on both counts.  I tend to like medium roasts, hate Starbucks with a passion, and like coffees that I can drink black.  For wine, I prefer reds or mead.
What are your thought on World Market? I think there used to be one in the town where I grew up, might still be, but there's not one close to me.  So, I don't have any strong thought one way or the other.
If you are a dog lover, or gigantic dog nerd like I am, would you like any breed-related items from this site? If so, which breed(s)? I like huskies, samoyeds, German shepherds and Irish wolf hounds, but mostly I like mutts.  But I have no dog right now, alas!
A witch wants to cheer you up. What are we cheering you up from? In other words, what are the most pressing problems you're facing right now? Money problems, but that's the case with most of the world right now.  Family drama's always a huge issue, but I'm phenomenally lucky for the most part - I don't have any big problems.
Who out there is equally challenged and would appreciate icons/banners as witchy gifts? Yep, this would be my question, and thus me.
Lip balm? Sure, but I can't use Burts Bees - it makes my lips more chapped than they were before I used it.  I like the ones with just a hint of gloss or color the best.
What's that one thing you keep meaning to get but keep forgetting or passing over? Heh, most things that would be for me, actually, as I have two kids who always want or need things more pressingly than I do and another on the way..
***6/30***
Have you any desire to read Hannibal? Nope, can't say I do.  Silence of the Lambs was awesome, though.
If your witch goes to Convergence (or is bestest friends with someone, same thing), is there anything you'd love to have? Nothing in particular, that I know of . . . but then, I don't really know anything about Convergence.
Are you freaking out over any of the discontinued scents, dear fellow Witches? Can't say I am, though I was on a mission to try all of the GCs.  Alas!
For those candy loving witchees. Are there any 3 that u love and would like more of? Uh . . . gummy worms, smarties and . . . I don't know.
And, are there any 3 that u just cannot stand and would not like any of? I don't particularly care to eat coconut, unless it's in the frosting for a German chocolate cake.  Don't like walnuts, pecans are iffy.  Other than that, I'm easy.
Do you have an electric stove, and would you like a bowl and tarts to use the residual heat (and for extra safety)? Yes, I have an electric stove but I'd prefer a regular tart burner, I think.
What is your favorite classic fairy tale or children's story ? I pretty much like all of them (and ethnic variations on each, particularly Chinese/Japanese), but Snow White and Rose Red is probably my favorite.  I far prefer the closer-to-original versions to the Disney-fied, homogenized ones, though.
What of the summer update (Egyptian, Lawn Ornaments, etc.) appeals most to you? The Lawn Ornaments, totally, though some of the Egyptian ones appeal.  I got bottles of the June update that I'm still not completely sold on, though that could be hormones talking - soon the baby will be out and my nose will be back to normal!
With all this talk of chocolate, do you prefer milk or dark? Milk.  I really don't much like dark.
What's that one thing you keep meaning to get but keep forgetting or passing over? Nothing, really, though a small cosmetic case to match or contrast with the purse I know I'm getting as a back to school present would be cool.  Vera Bradley ftw.
***6/29***
Do you like coconut? Not to eat, no, though I like the smell if it's mixed with other things.  Especially spicy other things.
Puddin' posts ebay sales of older stuff every now and then - what of the current lot are you dying for? I'm relatively new to BPAL (only been around for about a year!) and have kind of been going out of my way to avoid getting hooked on LEs to avoid the OMG I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE phenomenon. But, that said! I think the Smut he listed is the one I love. Also, I have a decant of The Shivering Boy that would love a bottle to accompany it and Snowblind sounds great. There are others that sound intriguing, but those are the ones that grab me.
Do you tweet? I do, indeed. And my Twitter name is CourtCat. If you add me, make sure to @ or dm me so I know not to block you as a spammer/bot. =D
What kind of mythology are you interested in? Most of them, actually - I love folk and fairy lore best, but mythology is cool too. I know most about Celtic, Greek and Roman, but I like learning new things, so if someone wanted to introduce me to Asian or . . . whatever . . . I'd be down.
***6/28***
Which flavors are you interested to try from the Chocolate Research Facility? Oh gods, only about all of them.  Well, all the milk chocolate ones, anyway.  Particularly if there's toffee involved.  Or cinnamon.
Do you wear makeup or nail polish? Need brushes, containers, storage, mani/pedi supplies? What colors and brands do you like? Brushes are always a bonus - I use Artistry when I use makeup at all.  For my nails, I tend to like OPI the best, and I like brownish reds or coppers - I'm a fair skinned red head with freckles, so I'm sure you can imagine good colors.  I also like funky ones, like sometimes doing my nails in rainbows, etc.
Do you like shiny hanging porch decorations like windchimes or those things that spin and swirl in the wind?
Hair adornments? I like both, actually - my hair is a little longer than shoulder length and stupidly thick (and sort of wavy), so it's complicated to deal with at best.  But!  As for wind chimes, I like the big copper and wood ones that sound almost like church bells the best and those swirly-spinny things hypnotize me (and my kids) for hours.
Is there any infomercial product you're dying to try even though you know it probably sucks? Um . . . not that I know of.
What are your favorite websites (besides this one, and the online shops you listed in your questionnaire)? Oh . . . facebook, I suppose.  Dreamwidth/LiveJournal.  Wikipedia.  It depends, really, on why I'm online.
We have so many talented witches and they really need to promote themselves more so, if you made something by hand for a previous witchee or have an etsy store or some other outlet for hand made goods, will you post it here with pictures or links? Or, if you want to brag on a previous witch's talent, this is the place for that as well.  This is only my second round!  And, alas, I'm not that crafty.  Though I'm trying!
If you could make your perfect scent (or at least most desired at the moment!) what would be in it? Leather, hint of cinnamon or clove, apple, hint of orange, honey, mead - basically Tintagel, only if I'd made the mead that comprises that particular set of notes myself.
So I have a question for the witchees, and hopefully mine will answer as well...In trying to decide what to fix for dinner, I thought that I've received some great recipes from friends (particularly the culinary mastermind that is scotchgrrl). I also have a few great recipes of my own. So would anyone like to receive some original, or very much loved recipes from his/her witch? Oh, yes.  Very much so - I do love recipes.
List things you DO NOT need any more of: Oh, I'm sure there are some.  But I'm a hoarder packrat, and so I'd never admit it, especially not about one thing in specific.
***6/27***
Is there something that would offend you if you received it in your mail/gift/email)? (as in profanity, a bad words in an email/card/music ... or a card or something with a scantily dressed man/woman pictured on it, crude/immature humor tshirts, etc ...)  Nope, I'm pretty easy going and grew up in several societal subsets that make me nearly impossible to shock/offend.
What do you like to snack on? Swedish Fish, gummy worms, strawberry Twizzlers, M&Ms, pretty much any bite size-ish milk chocolate thing.  Chips and salsa (I like blue corn chips the best and Garden Fresh Salsa Company (local to metro-Detroit, MI) is my fave, especially their artichoke/roasted garlic salsa), pretzels, chex mix (home made is the best!) . . . lots of different stuff, really, though I tend to alternate sweet and salty, or like things that are both the best.
What is the color scheme you use most when you decorate? Blue/green/yellow (or cream/gold in yellow's place) with hints of chrome or brushed nickel.
If you have music or DVD's on your wishlist, do you mind getting a burned copy? How about if it is original packaging but previously used? Or do you only want it new? Original packaging and used is awesome; burned copies of most things I don't mind, though there are some I'd really like to have the original packaging for (or to see the money go to the artist/studio that the product came from).  Mostly, though, I'm easy going and don't mind either way.
Who is your favorite artist? What are some of your favorite pieces of their work?  Oh, dear, I'm not good at this sort of question.  Mostly, it's just if I like something, I like it.
Are you a candles person, incense person, or just a BPTP spritzer for room scents?  My candles are usually non-scented and then altered with the oil of choice at a given time.  I like incense, and love most of the BPTP spritzers I've tried so far.  Except Cathouse, which is way too caramel-y for me and is getting sent to someone I'm pretty sure will love it.
What is your favorite latin or faux latiny phrase? Heh, I'm a total geek for Harry Potter, so pretty much anything that shows up there.
***6/26***
How are you doing for BPAL storage? Need any boxes? I have one box from my lovely witch of last round and could definitely use another one or five.  Ultimately, I want my bottles to be seperate from my imps to be seperate from my decants and everything seperated by line and whether it's GC or LE.  I'm a bit anal retentive, you see.
Is there any place you've visited where you feel like you left your heart there?  Washington DC, Virginia's mountains, and Quebec.  Man, I loved being in all those places and would go again in a heartbeat.
What one item would you just love to have that is made by a Switch Witch?  I like made stuff in general, so . . . I don't know!  Something that required a lot of thought, I suppose, or incorporated my answers to all these questions.  Something that shows s/he got to know me as much as possible before making it.
Is your abode a palace covered in fur, a disaster area ,or a neat freak's delight? Usually it's a disaster area, right now it's okay.  I live in a tiny flat with two kids under the age of ten and a husband, so even if I were good at keeping things together, I'm way outnumbered.  Also, I'm crazy about organization and if I can't do things the way I want them done, I tend to just ignore them.  Storage is a huge problem here.
Are there any phobias you have that you absolutely, positively, do NOT want anything from your witch referencing? Nope!  I'm mildly claustrophobic and slightly less mildly afraid of heights, but not to the point where something referencing small places or being in the air would freak me out.
Are you a good witch or a bad witch?  Wouldn't you like to know?  *waggles eyebrows*  If we're talking seriously, I'm usually far more drawn to dark than light, but I tend to resist it and stay in the middle as much as possible.
What kind of a car do you drive and would you want something you could use in your car? Rear view mirror charms, steering wheel covers (a new thinkg for the knitters ), car blessing medicine bags.  I don't have my own car, but the family car is a 2009 Ford Fusion.  As my husband is the one who drives it, most of that would go unappreciated until I do have my own car, though blessing bags are always a bonus.  Particularly if they also act as air fresheners.
Do you want to know when you have something coming in the mail, or would you rather it be a complete surprise? I'm good with either, honestly.
What is your mailbox situation? We have our own, though it's kind of small.  Packages get set beside the door unless I have to sign for them.
***6/25***
Are you interested in Tarot or Tarot art?  Yes!  Although really, I just got a lovely set of cards from my last round's witch and already had two or three decks that found their way to me, so I'm more into books to learn more about them at the moment.  I've always been more of a rune sticks/stones kind of girl.
What would you think of soap samples/shampoo bar samples? (I believe the latter can be used as soap if you are not shampoo bar inclined). Or other sample sized bath/beauty products, for that matter?  If they're interesting/smell good, I'm down.  Though I've never heard of a shampoo bar and am now terribly curious!
What about burnables as in candles, tarts and/or incense?  Oh, yes please.  Although if it's oils, I don't have any burners any more.  =\
Who knits? Do you also spin and dye? What supplies, that you wouldn't buy for yourself, would you just love to have for that activity?  I've been trying to teach myself to knit for ages, to no avail.  I'm terribly intrigued by spinning - a drop spindle, some cool fiber and an instruction book would be awesome.
Do you like coffee? Whole bean or ground? Bold/Medium/Mild roast? Oh, yes.  Not a big fan of Starbucks though I love Caribou's medium roasts (and La Minita - yum!).  I tend to prefer middle of the road roasts, though there's the occasional light or dark that floats my boat for a while.  At the moment, though, as I'm almost done with pregnancy and will be nursing, decaf is a good idea.
So you have enough socks and wraps... (shush, VCW!) Are there any other knitted goods you might like? Lap blanket? Fingerless gloves? Arm warmers? Little knitted animals? Silk scarf? Head band? Wrist cuff? Dish clothes?  Any and all of the above!
***6/24***
Are you obsessed with honey? If so, is there a particular kind you like best? Spun honey, flavored honeys, certain types of honey....etc.  I love honey.  And I make mead.  So, I'm constantly experimenting with different kinds/flavors in my brewing efforts, not to mention cooking/baking or tea.  All in all, yes, I love honey - everything about it.  The smell, the color, the taste . . . mmmmmm.
What are your favorite materials? Or material things? Some people like jewelry, some like woods, some plants...  Um . . . I like things that are mixed together.  Most of the crafty stuff I do is mixed media and I appreciate that in a lot of forms - jewelry that incorporates metal, wood and/or bone, for instance.  As for single-substance materials, I suppose I mostly like wood.
Is there anything you've been wanting to learn that your witch might be able to help you with?  Knitting/spinning?  Also, relearning German.
Posters, yes or no?  Sure!
What are your favorite animals? Or, what animals resonate strongly with you?  For domesticated/pets, I'm mostly a dog (huskies are at the top of the list, followed by Samoyeds, German Shepherds, Elkhounds and Irish Sheephounds) girl - no birds or reptiles, though the occasional cat is alright.  Wild animals are harder, and change more often.
Are there any historical figures you are particularly interested in - say, that you'd enjoy reading about, or movies, etc.?  I love history in general, so pretty much anyone to be honest.  Mostly western European or American, though other stuff catches my eye sometimes too.  I like to learn things!  So if there's someone I should know about, feel free to teach me.
What, if anything, are you earwormed with right now?  I am currently sans earworm, though most often the ones that hit me are from Broadway or wizard rock (Harry Potter music).
What scent are you wearing right now, if any?  None at the moment - the sun and my skin aren't on speaking terms (meaning I have an itchy rash anywhere that's been exposed to the sun over the past few weeks that isn't normally) and I hesitate to use my lovelies in case they exacerbate the problem.  They don't seem to on the occasions I do use them, but just in case!
***6/23***
Anyone reading an amazing book right now? No, I can't really say I am though I recently finished The Stepsister Scheme by Jim C. Hines, and Palimpsest by Catherynne M. Valente (again).  I started reading some mystery thing that I picked up because it sounded vaguely interesting, but it isn't really, so I'm kind of at a loss for the moment.
What socially respsonsible site would you recommend to ALL Witches? Honestly, i haven't the foggiest.  But, suggestions are always welcome.
What is your favorite anime, or if you don't like that what is your favorite animated series? Anime-wise, I love Sakura Wars, Eskaflowne, Hellsing . . . lots of stuff, really, and I'm always keen on being introduced to new and interesting things.  Just plain animation-wise, I love Animaniacs, ReBoot, Danger Mouse, Invader Zim, um . . . I'm forgetting a bunch, but there are lots.  Jetsons, Flintstones, Thundercats . . .
Do you like villians that are funny because they are meant to be, or are you like me and love the villian that just can't seem to get his evil schemes to work? Both, pretty much.  It depends on what I'm in the mood for, really.
Tea. How do you feel about it? Mmmm, love.  There was some awesome Chai that my witch from the shotgun round sent me from England and it's . . . well, awesome.  I <3 it and I'll be out soon.  =\
Would my future witchee like to receive steampunk style jewelry? Yes, yes indeed I would.  I generally only wear rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, though.  Which I guess pretty much covers the gamut, hmm?
Does your feline like catnip? No feline, though I'm sure there will be when we buy a house and move.  A dog will likely come first, though.
Salt soap bars (soap made with a large quantity of salt, like salt-scrub-in-a-bar)? Sure!
How would you feel about homemade jelly/jam from home-grown berries? I tend to prefer preserves, but I'd totally be down.
Homemade dill pickles? Made from cukes, beans, snap peas, baby zucchini? Oooh, do you make the watermelon rind kind?  My grandma used to, once upon a time, and they were awesome.  Mostly, though, I've only had the cucumber kind.

***6/22***
Based on Prior Carnivale act prototypes...which one are you truly excited about? I don't actually have a lot of experience with the Carnivale stuff.
Would it bother you if you are not the first person to receive the same gift? Imagine a Witch who always sends her favourite book, for example. Not at all.  All my pregnant/moving friends get afghans, usually, because my mom knits and sews and only charges me for the yarn.
Pets: What do you have, and do they need/want anything? As I asked in my questionnaire, do husbands count?
Does anyone play video games? What platform(s)? Are there any new or vintage games you would like? I have a PC and a PS2 and love Guitar Hero/Rockband and anything Tetris related.
Twilight fans, would you be interested in any products from this Etsy seller? If so, add the items you like to your Etsy favorites and make sure your wishlist is posted somewhere for your witch. Not so much a Twilight fan, really.
Are you in need of decanting supplies, wand caps, or other scent-related paraphernalia? Actually, as I'd love to learn to decant and run circles and what not, I'd totally be into that.  (Wand caps for 5ml bottles especially.  I have eight, currently (and more in the not too distant future) that need them.)

***6/20-21***
Are there any single notes (likely non bpal) that anyone is dying to have/try? Not really, but anything peppermint-y (not spearamint) or sage-y.
net flick or the likes gift subscriptions? A month of Netflicks vs a DvD? That would be lovely, actually.  Just because I have a gajillion channels and onDemand doesn't mean there's anything on that I want to watch at a given time.
Adorable Japanese characters? Pretty much the dark/punk Hello Kitty characters.  Other than that, I'm not terribly familiar . . . but anything in the cute/dark vein would amuse me greatly.
My fiance sent me an early dvd rip of Coraline that he was given (pretty sure it's not been released yet, but I sometimes have a hard time keeping up) and I was wondering if anyone would like a copy of it? Yes!  I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD anyway, but that would tide my kids (and me!) over nicely.  =D
Do you collect dolls or miniatures? What kind? Do you like to get new clothes or items for them? My collections are mostly books, CDs and DVDs, but my kids have both American Girl (the modern ones) and Bitty Baby dolls that they always want clothes and stuff for.  So, if that's your thing it would be well appreciated around here, and two little girls would be very happy.
If you were to make a seasonal mix CD for this summer, what would you name it? (This was my question, haha.)  It would depend on my mood when making it and the over all theme, I s'pose.
Would you like any recycle/upcycle supplies for your crafting? Ysplz!  I do mostly mixed media and collage type stuff, when I'm not bumming around with my camera.  Yarn would get passed on to someone else to make something for me unless I felt particularly inspired to felt something from it.
Is there a program you might have missed or show you love which is gone from the airwaves which might be found (or burned) for you by a Witch? Carnivale is my all time favorite - I have season one, but would really love season two if it were found used or otherwise inexpensive somewhere because I like the packaging.  Other than that?  Arrested Development season three, Fraggle Rock season two and later, The Muppet Show season three and later, Gilmore Girls, Dawson's Creek, Felicity . . . there are lots, really.
Do you play any online games, like World of Warcraft? If so, what server do you play on, what's your character's name, etc.? I don't, though I've had friends on my case to play both WoW and FFXI for ages.  I'm more likely to go for the latter if I ever do either, honestly.
Would anyone like bath bombs or bath melts scented with one of their favorite BPAL scents? I do these for myself sometimes and find them to be quite enjoyable. Sure!  I'd be tempted to actually take a bath instead of a shower if I had such things.
Would you like homemade cinnamon buns or sticky buns? Mmmmm, ysplz.
Is there anyone here that likes Hello Kitty or any other Sanrio Characters? As I said up there, the dark/cute juxtaposition ones are the ones I love.  The rest are too sugary sweet for me.
Any non NZ or Aus witchee that I get gets Tim Tams, OK? I'm not sure what they are.  Sure, why not?  =D

***6/19***
For non-US witches: is there anything from the US you'd love that you can't get where you live now? I'm in the US, but there are these things called Tea Candies that I got in a package once (the sweet tea one) that I really dig and apparently don't exist in Michigan.  Other than that, I mostly don't know what I'm missing.
How many potential witchees have an iPod, or download MP3s? I do!  But I'm generally not particularly legal about my downloading needs.

Are there any of the BPTP bath oils you adore (particularly ones that you cannot get anymore). What about the room sprays? I don't actually know much from BPTP stuff other than the t-shirts.
How would you feel about an ultra-girlie shawl or wrap in summer-weight (lace)? I don't know for sure that I'd wear it, but I'd certainly appreciate the thought and effort!
What would you think of hand-dyed items? Depends on the item and colors, really.
So, I hear you don't like lacy wraps! How do you feel about hand-knit socks? Ysplz!

What kinds of crafts does everyone either enjoy making or enjoy getting? Do you have a certain type of handmade item that you love to collect? Socks, boxes, jewelry, dolls etc? I go through spurts of lots of crafting and spurts of none.  I make paper, do woodburning, collaging, etc.  There's nothing in specific that I collect, though.
Clearly, vegans are not into soaps with honey or milk, etc. But, if you're NOT a vegan how would you feel about soaps made with emu oil? Squicked out/concerned about animal cruelty, or willing to try them? I'm not vegan and thus the question isn't directed at me, but I'm intrigued.  Given how dry my skin is, though it's still sensitive, most oils that I'd use in a bath/shower are iffy.
