Ripples
I found this site a while back and noticed it again on the del.icio.us popular page - it's a ripple tank simulator that runs on Java within your browser. I suggest everyone give it a spin. Once the applet is running, try picking various items within the top-right dropdown to see some examples, then try to explain (to yourself) what's going on in each situation. Yay physics!
