Been awhile!
Yeah I know it's been awhile. I've had some things going on, been working a lot, up and down shifts, dealin' with some things .. I've had a lot to think about and do!
I want to ask everyone to pray for my friend Daniel. He's having a very hard time since he's been trying even harder to be close to God. A lot of bad things are happening to him lately. There's this girl he really cares about, but then there's this girl that he's always had a hard time with. He's dated her off and on for quiet awhile, and it finally got to the point a couple months ago where he knew it wasn't right, so he put an end to it. Just when him and this girl were getting really close and praying really hard about when and whether they should get together, one of his past mistakes came to haunt him. His ex girlfriend is pregnant with his baby, and well you can guess the rest. He's very depressed and doesn't know how to deal with it. HE knows they can't take care of the baby, and he doesn't want to marry her, and said that he won't, because it will only make things harder on the baby. His pastor is more than willing to help find a great family to adopt, but of course she, still being in love with him, will have nothing of it. From what Daniel tells me, along with others, she can't take care of herself, nonetheless an innocent and helpless child. I feel like she's being greedy in the situation. I'm not a mother so I can't imagine giving up a child, but I do know that if it were in that baby's best interest, I could find it in me to do it. They are not at a point in their lives where they are anywhere near being able to take care of this child, but she won't look at it that way. It's a really sad situation .. You guys please pray for him and pray for God to give him peace and to make him feel His forgiveness, because he really thinks he's messed things up with the girl he wants to be with, even though she says he hasn't. I just want him to be happy..!
Let's see. What else. I haven't really done much other than work lately! I've hung out with a couple of my friends off and on .. Went to see Troy Saturday night .. Wow. I LOVED it. Lots of Brad and Orlando hotness = wonderful. I'd definately see it again!
We got an extra 10% discount on anything we bought today, so I took advantage and put two bikinis and a couple outfits and girlie bras and things in layaway. I'll need the bikinis if I go to the lake with my friend this summer. We'll have to see about that, though.
I guess that'll be about it for now .. If you love me, you'll comment a lot! haha .. I miss comments but I'm too lazy to update most of the time!
