[The screen flickers on as Hikaru stares down into the lens. She thinks she's only a visitor like everyone else, and that this device isn't actually transmitting anything right now. These temporary devices shouldn't be capable of it, right?]

[All of these visitors…
Some had come to visit him and some had come to visit Lantis, but the result was the same… an apartment filled to the seams with people. So during a moment when everyone was distracted, that was when Eagle made his escape. True… the City streets were also filled with visiting people, but he felt like getting out, stretching his legs, and just taking a little walk… instead of being packed into an apartment like sardines…

That this action left Lantis for a moment, totally alone with all of the visitors… well, it might be good for him to meet some new people. Besides, Eagle was sure he could take care of himself.

And what better place to take this stroll of his than… Xanadu! Just walking in through the gate… there are many people here too… so Hikaru isn’t readily noticed. ]

[Hikaru finishes fiddling with the device and puts it away. Holding her head in her hands she starts surveying her surroundings. A throng of visitors were wafting back and forth in front of her, only allowing a brief snatches of light to shine between them as they moved.

The sheer variety was striking, there were people, and animals from all sorts of places. Many of wish still seemed disoriented and confused, while others were admiring the park's sights and foliage

A girl in a cute outfit with long rabbit ears caught Hikaru's eye. She briefly wondered whether the ears were real or not but didn't want to bother her. A few more moments passed before she caught sight of a snatch of green material.]

Eagle?!

[She exclaimed, bolting to her feet.. but she lost sight of the material]

It... wasn't.. really.. him was it?

[The crowd clears for a moment… opening a gap Hikaru can better see through. There stands Eagle in full view hunched over slightly as he seems to be talking to a young girl who is crying. A taller more aggressive guy yells something that sounds like, “But she bumped into me”…
Eagle looks up at this taller visitor clearly saying something to him, but the words are lost in the bustle of the people in Xanadu. And then the view is blocked once again.
When the crowd moves off again the taller guy appears to be apologizing to the girl and Eagle himself smiles as he turns to walk away from the scene. ]

It is Eagle!

[She clasped her hands in front of her, her eyes threatening to tear up. Hikaru blinked a few times and shook her head to collect herself before running in that direction her arms trailing at her sides. The last time she'd been in the city.. she'd been in such a hurry to go back... to stop Cephiro's destruction and to stop the invaders from taking the pillar system for themselves.

.. but she'd learned more since then. The sight... of seeing Eagle... alive was something she'd never expected to see again. She could have kicked herself for allowing it to happen. For having been so impatient to go back without knowing how it would all turn out. Sure, most things.... had improved.. but... but this... she didn't want to have any regrets this time.

.. but ... ]

Eagle! Wait up! [she called out to him when she drew nearer still]

[Hears something… not sure what. It was barely audible over the roar of the visitors. But, it was enough for Eagle to stop and turn around to see what the sound might have been.

It almost sounded like his name…? ]

[ When he stops the redhead nearly smacks into him. Given her stature he looked right over her when he turned. It's a little embarrassing but... she'll forgive him!]

[Takes a deep breath]

You're here!

Hikaru!

[Um… yea… looking down… at you… chibi …. ]

What a nice surprise! You are here for a visit as well then?

[She nods her head a few times]

It seems that way!

[Stares up at him.. like she's trying to memorize every detail. Realizes what she's doing and finally breaks her gaze]

[There's so much she wants to say.. but she's drawing a blank at the moment]

Now which Hikaru are you…? The one from my timeline or another?

[Said with a smile, having NO IDEA how dangerous a subject that could turn out to be. ]

Oh! That's right! Umi said there was another Hikaru here today.

[Points to herself] I'm the Hikaru you entered the City with.

In that case it is very nice to see you again. You have been sorely missed by the others.

[And... well... him too... ]

By the others? [Didnt you miss me at all?] I missed them too! I.. think. It was hard to recall anything when I returned. [Feels bad about that]

[Awww]

So-- how have you been?

They did say it would be impossible to remember anything that happened here. I guess they were right about that.

[ -,- He only has one answer to that question… you should know that by now Hikaru! ]

I’m fine. Things have been fairly uneventful since you left.
[Fibbing a bit. There is no reason for you to know all of the bad things that happened while you were away. ]

Yeah they did.. [Still feels guilty. Clenches a fist and looks determined] I'm going to remember next time.

[ He does. Eep. She got the stock answer from both Lantis and Eagle]

Well that's good.. but something must have happened. Did you know that the princess of Fahren is here too?

If you want it bad enough I am sure you will be able to accomplish that, Hikaru!

[Encouragement from yo enemy! ]

I did. She and I have had a few meetings in this City. Nothing really serious, mostly talk.
[Save for that one time when she attacked him with an illusion… passed over. ]

It must have been a surprise when she showed up. [a laugh] She always seems so curious and full of energy.
