Soul Perceive Informational Post
Maka Albarn is a very unique person in the world of Soul Eater. She possesses a power which is shared with the Death Gods of her world and few others. It is an exceptionally important power which has become a central plot device; it is a power which scares the most powerful villain in the series: the Demon God Asura. It's not a power that gives her strength or some sort of undefeatable battle technique.
Her power is called 'Soul Perceive'. This power is the ability to see souls. This is significant because souls give an accurate representation of a person's true personality, power, and species. For example: a stubborn jerk like Laharl would have a soul showing a conflicted person who is kind at heart. Demons', angels', humans', and other species' souls would have variations to them, though she wouldn't likely know the differences without practice and study; for example, she may mistake magically-inclined individuals for Witches.
When Maka Perceives a soul, it takes an appearance of a large orb with various designs, usually reflecting certain themes important to the person; for examples: Doctor Stein has an enormous bolt through his head and stitches across his body, so his soul also has an enormous bolt and stitches; Reimu would likely have a soul that looks like a large yin-yang orb covered with talisman designs. They're generally pretty simplistic.
Certain characters capable of hiding their power or true nature incredibly well (such as Aizen) would have far more difficult souls to read if they are, in fact, trying to hide themselves.
Since this is an incredibly important power, I would appreciate it if anyone would give me permission to have Maka see their characters' souls along with giving a bit of the following information about each character's soul:
Species: (Demon, angel, human, whatver)
Soul Appearance: (Just a one-sentence description of its appearance)
Real Personality: (Just a few adjectives to describe the character's REAL personality.)
