Cady helps me deal with my issues everyday. And I have too many issues to list here. I have too many issues that are constantly coming up for her to just focus on one part of me to repair or fix or whatever. In fact, I don’t even know why she still tries. I’m broken. I’m a mess. I’m like the never ending project. Maybe she needs a project, I don’t know.
What I do know is that every morning when I wake up, I try to be okay… for her. Some days the show can last all day. That’s a successful day. On most days I slip… I can’t hold ‘okay’ all day. I’m not strong enough.
So you know what she helps me deal with? Everything. Everyday. Anytime. Anywhere. I keep waiting for her to get tired of it. And I really, really dread the day that she does.
