Quote from "Into the Black"
Thought I might start up some conversation about this particular quote that I found most interesting.
I guess I wasn’t really paying attention the first time I watched this. Sometimes that happens - you are so busy trying to get what is going on that you miss some things.
During my current rewatch (almost done with the finale), my shipper heart is hurting. Druitt truly has outdone himself this time and the tension is killing me. Anyway, I guess I have to agree with Helen on what she says in this quote. And though I also understand where John is coming from, he was stupid to believe Adam.
Helen: “You’d really wipe out the last hundred years without so much as a second thought?”
John: “To be with you? Oh yes.”
Helen: “If who I am now is so meaningless to you that you would sacrifice it in order to bed me in some other timeline … John, That’s not love.”
Any thoughts?
