So yeah
I've been away for awhile. Not really gone so to speak, merely not here . . . if that makes any sense. Well lots has happened since my last entry for the sake of being vague. I'm in a particular mood so I thought I'd share with you fine people some stuff from my poetry book. Yes, I write the occassional poem, they're not really good, but I do jot them down from time to time when the line hits me. So here it goes, don't laugh.
And they are having their moment
Of perfect passion.
Seeing, knowing
That upon release
Real life will resume,
Shattering the illusion of truth.
How can we ever come
To escape our delusions?
I see you right there,
Truely there, truely present;
Always expecting you to fade away
Into my imagination.
Truth exists.
Not with me, nor with you.
Love exists.
Not with me, I give it all away
I long for it, though knowing
Full well, I am underserving of it.
And the moment exists . . .
So there, my first piece of published poetry for the masses to enjoy. Don't laugh, merely critic.
