Another favorite Scot of mine...
So, I had written off going to see Billy Connelly this week as I wasn't too keen on going by myself... yet fate stepped in! A last minute invite from my roving friend and I was there in some pretty decent seats at the Brentwood Theater.
And, I was treated to a bonus star sighting... Eric Idle! Naturally, he had better seats, but he was close... and wearing a Grateful Dead jacket at that... fun stuff.
Billy did not disappoint and delivered his usual stream-of-consciousness style of humor for a good couple of hours... if you've never had the pleasure, I highly recommend checking him out. He's in LA until the 24th, but I think this is part of a larger tour as he had his own fancy backdrop and everything.
I'm off to bed... tomorrow should be an interesting day... my assistant Dawn called me during the show and was in an accident on her way out. Sure, she'll be fine... but what will I do without her for a day?!?!
