You could very well be onto somehing.

I was afraid I hadn't looked at this bit about a red door from enough angles and that my speculations were lacking something.

If it turns up in all testimonies, could it be in a fixed location?

It could be fixed on the other side. I wouldn't be too sure about it being fixed on this side of the portals since it seems the doorway leaves its victims where it took them. If all aspects of testimonies are to be believed, at least, since the portal dimension had a mental effect on those taken.

If this thing about a doorway fixed in one position in the other side is true...then it could be possible to stage a rescue mission for those taken.

Possible, but not too probable at this point since we have no way of finding a precise way to get to the other side. We'd also have to think about people who would have the moral fiber to overcome their fears or nightmares or whatever it is exactly the dimension shows its victims.

What happens if we send two in together? From what I understand, almost everyone who has gotten out, has gotten out with help.

And with someone helping, your fears are easier to face.

That could work, but a buddy system, so to speak, isn't necessarily be a guarantee. People can't be around each other 24 hours of the day or perhaps a portal only takes one at a time, no matter what, or even if the pair does somehow go in together, what happens if their fears compound on each other instead of dispel?

However, I suppose we won't know until we try.

Maybe if we catch whoever's behind it, we'll be able to get in whenever we want.

We'd have to catch him or her first, and that's if the individual responsible for that is susceptible to persuasion.

We managed to persuade Alice, didn't we? I don't see how somebody who is immature enough to think that throwing random people into portals will somehow wreak vengeance against the Order could be that different.

If it is another child spirit, you never know. In my experience, children who throw tantrums can either be scolded or cannot. It usually depends on their upbringing, and if this spirit thinks he or she is better than humans like some do think, it could be difficult.

There is always a way to handle unruly children.
