That's quite alright. As Dean, I have to apologize for the situation as well. This is hardly how I prefer welcoming our new students.

Oh, I am quite sure you do. But if you're not aware of your talents yet, that is fine; after all, part of university is about reaching a better understanding of yourself. But I suppose that will have to wait until this situation is over with.

For now, you can either ask a staff member in Freya court what you can do to help, or perhaps just talk to other students. Some of them could probably really do with someone to talk to, especially some of the other newer students.
