Life never slows down, does it? The times you want it to go as slow as possible, it speeds by like a stray bullet, and the moments you want it to go quickly, it goes at a snails pace. We have so many years on this earth, determined by God alone. We learn not to take these days for granted, yet we still do, no matter how we learn it, we do. I have taken too much of my life for granted, and it has passed by way too quickly. It feels like only yesterday we were driving out west in the Grand Canyon, or hiking in the moutains in Glacier or going to DC with NSLC (one of the best times of my life!). I can't believe it has gone by so quickly. Before I know it, I will be off to graduate school, getting my masters, meeting someone, settling down(me? settle down?), raising a family, etc. etc. Life goes by too quickly.
One week from today, at this moment, I will be graduated. I can't believe it. I will have walked across that stage, shaked President Wong's hand, and received my diploma(well, just the thing my diploma comes in, the Post Office actually delievers my diploma!) I will be done with NMU. My whole family (mom, dad, brother, aunt kristine, great aunt margie, grandpa, my dad's cousin larry and his wife jane, uncle mark and his fiancee melissa, and my best friend yvonne(she is like a sister)) will be there. I am looking forward to seeing all of them. Well, almost all of them. I have a beef with one of them, not telling which one! Then the afternoon will be spent sitting around, then off to dinner at the Landmark. I am looking forward to dinner at the Landmark, I haven't been there since last fall. Their food is so damn good!! Yum! Then back here for dessert and coffee. Then I will be done, completly done. No more homework, no more tests, no more. I will be done with my undergraduate career.
So here is the plan for today. I am going to write my spanish composition, get that out of the way. From there, I am going to start on my history paper so I can get that done by Monday. Ya think being my last semester, I wouldn't have so much to do! Oh well!! Tonight I am going out for one last hurrah here in Marquette. I am hoping to go out to dinner with Amber, then to the Upfront for some drinks and a good time with some friends. It will be my last chance to go out, since next weekend will be too busy.
Life goes on.....
