happy valentine's day.
sean came to visit this weekend. that was nice. he just left this morning.
i hate saying goodbye to him. the day he leaves is always hard for me. the next day is usually better.
he took a part-time job that pays $9/hr. and is about 40 minutes from his house. he starts on monday. he took it because he can always quit (and immediately), and $9 is better than nothing, and they told him a lot of people get a better job there once they get their foot in the door. and it's a hospital so he might have to work weekends. in the interview he told them he'd prefer not to have to work every weekend, and he'd like to have friday evenings off, but he doesn't know details of when he's working yet. they said something about the shifts being either 10-5 or 11-6.
i have a midterm tomorrow and thursday and i haven't started studying for either yet. oops. i think i'll do ok on the one on thursday, but i need to study a lot tonight for the one tomorrow. i hope i get to go to the lab and study at work.
i think i'm gonna go home this weeekend, but i'm thinking about not leaving until saturday morning.
