[mood|
hot]
[music| Too Late for Love//Def Leppard ]

Not that kind of hot. Pervs. Get your mind out of my gutter! It's only the tail end of May, should it be this hot? *shrug* At least I've found my bathing suit. Thank God! I thought I had lost it in the latest move. A cute bikini top and skirt that matches. I spent more than enough money on both those. $28 or so for the top; about $40 for the skirt. I actually couldn't make myself buy an actual bottom. I wore these old ones I had that didn't match. I just never took off the skirt.

I think I've gone round the bend. I now have 3, count 'em, 3!, Doctor Who icons. 2 of them are of 9th Doctor/Rose, my newest one of just Rose. 'Cause it's purty.

Friday Five
1. How many places have you lived in your life? Huh. More than I can count. Moved around quite a bit while I was a baby. Well, 7 times since I started elementary school. I belive about 2 before that.
2. Which was your favorite and why and what street was it on? I don't know. I like each one for different reasons. We've never stayed in one too long. I guess my childhood home on Scotchpine Drive. I loved the neighborhood. But a lot of shit with my family went down there. I think the last place we lived, the fancy condo, was my favorite. It was pretty.
3. If you could live anywhere for the rest of your life, where would it be? I'd love to say the UK, but who knows if I'd live the whole rest of my life there? Maybe Jersey. Next best thing to New Yawk, but cheaper.
4. What would your ideal home have in it? Well, it would be set back quite a ways from the road. Look like a Southern plantation house. Hardwood floors, lots of comfy sofas, state-of-the-art kitchen, chandeliers, a winding staircase, a huge backyard, a garden, and a few fireplaces. I'd like to live in a big house. I'd decorate it so nice.
5. Can you describe your current crib? Built in the 1920's. Two floors, full basement. Hardwood floors, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen (too small of one), a walk-in pantry. Really old doorknobs. Like, Alice in Wonderland doorknobs that I keep expecting to bite my hand off. Creaky floors, warped wood on the walls. Moldy shingles. Large porch. Big, overgrown backyard. The rooms are shaped really weird. Mine is long and skinny, with no closet. The boys' are slightly square-ish, if slighlty off. Closets that are small, but go back a ways. Old, tiny, dark. No AC.

Littlest Brother is now officially 11! God. I remember him when he was a baby. Makes me sad. Especially because he was being snotty before. What happened to my sweet-natured baby brother? *sigh* We're off to my aunt and uncle's house tomorrow for a small BBQ in his honor tomorrow. It should be nice and relaxed.

Then, it's off to a friend's Memorial Day party. But she lives out in ass-end Ridge. I told her I would go. But see, she's moved the party twice now. It's now at 5 o'clock tomorrow. Littlest Brother's shindig is at 3. So, I'm figuring I'll hit the party around 7ish. Her things run all night.

But I'm debating about whether or not I even want to go. This girl was in my group of friends at my first high school. And after I moved, she made no effort to keep in touch with me. It's silly, because I didn't even like her that much in high school. She just came along with all my other friends. A big group. She was just there. Doesn't mean I'm slightly miffed she never called me.

I just don't know if I'm going to have any fun. I can't even drink, because I'll be driving myself home. Thoughts, comments from anybody?
