I should be doing homework right now. God, I hate the spring semester with a passion. At least with the fall semester, it's going into crappy weather. With this one, you're going into such nice weather that the last thing you want to be doing is sitting around doing work and studying.
I should be doing:
Informative speech outline on English Premier League
Persuasive speech outline on teen steroid use for group project
Working on my flier for my "business" for my Tech Writing class
My math homework
U.S. History report-thingy

Wanna know what I'm doing instead? *bounces around*
Reading Dr.Who fanfic! Yes, that's right, ladies and gents. Yours truly has found a brand-spanking new fandom to occupy her time! And dude, Dr.Who takes me back to my Buffy days. Where you love all the characters, and the story line is great and so unique, and there's people with English accents! Love it.
I know there have been quite a few doctors. And 9 is my favorite (yes, when I got into the show, I knew it had been on in England for a looooong time, so I did my research. 'Cause I'm good like that). See, I get it on the SciFi channel (it's actually on in a little bit - I've never been so glad that I don't go out on Friday nights b/c I have work the next morning), and they are currently showing Season 1 with the 9th Doctor.
Britain just started the 2nd season with the 10th Doctor. Another reason for me to want to move to England. A very small one, yes.
I don't know if I told you guys, but I recently found out something at work. Apparently, there is an organization that specializes in placing American librarians all around Europe. *swoon* How perfect would that be?! I've been seriously thinking about going into the Library Science field. Yes, you have to get your Master's, but it's totally worth it. Librarians make a ridiculous amount of money for what they do. And being surrounded by books all day? Waay hot. ;)
Oh, and a totally fucked-up new set of rules has just been instated at my work today. But that's a whole 'nother can of worms I don't want to open right now. But you'll pretty much laugh. *rolls eyes*
My mother is so cute. She got me the Walk the Line Collector's Edition DVD for Easter! So, of course, I've watched it twice already and the Bonus Features disk once. It's even better than I remember it. I just wish I didn' have such a small tv.
And I'm off! Well, to go decide if I want a snack to go with my Doctor-n-Rose hijinks. Hope everybody's weekend is getting off to a good start!
