(no subject)
So, last week I was talking to my boyfriend about not spending quite so much time together. It was getting to the point where if we didnt see eachother everyday there was something tragic happening...you may understand how this can be a little much. After careful thought, I certainly do. So when we talked Thursday about when we might hang out, it didn't faze me too much when he suggested Sunday night.
Last week was quite a week at work. We were being audited, so everyone was really tense. Between that and everything else going on in life, I was getting to bed VERY early, around 10:30 most nights. Friday, was no different. I went to bed early, falling asleep to the sound of Dawson and Joey deconstructing their over active teenage lives(yes, I'm on a Dawson's Creek kick...SO!) This meant, that when I woke up to a text msg at 7:05am, I was more than happy to answer it. That's about the time I wake up during the week anyways. A few msgs later and I was out of bed getting ready for a breakfast date. Mmmm, Breakfast! Tony showed before eight and we hopped into the car and headed to breakfast After breakfast we stopped at a couple yard sales. We picked up some cards and a few old games then spent some time walking through the wal-mart and best buy. I purchases some cell phone accessories to go with my new phone and Tony got some DVDs. We spent the rest of the morning at my house watching movies, organizing cards(we got a used game of 'Pan' with like 30 deks of cards that we wanted to be sure were complete), and playing games. Around one we went to Costco. We picked up a few more things, including lunch(sushi and hotdogs, who knew), and again went back to my place. We played more games, watched another movie, put together batman legos and napped. It was a nice day. Then greg and roe asked if we wanted to watch a movie with them, so we put in Last Holiday(VERY cute), cuddled up with the puppies and watched. Midway through the movie Tony got a call from Ed asking if we wanted to come over for some cards. I offered to stay behind, it had been a nice long day together, I didn't want to over stay my welcome. He insisted I go(yay!) and we went over for some drinks and some cards. We played for a few hours, made a midnight liquor run, convinced Ed he wasn't feeling well enough to work the next day and decided to crash there. In the morning Ed made YUMMY breakfast, and we split up shortly to get ready for Magic Mountain. We spent a fun filled day there waiting in lines and riding fun rides. We got to test drive the new coaster, Tatsu, still not as good as 'X', and ride about 5 others. It wasnt a HUGE day there, it was bit crowded and we arrived late, but it was still a ton of fun! At eleven, we were back at Tony's and I limped out to my car and drove home. It was a VERY nice two days.
The only down side, I probably have to wait a few days to see my boy now, but I can handle it. I have some other people to catch up with anyway.
Oh, did I mention that last sunday was quite similar? After a long week of travel and Megan's wedding and things, i was planing to spend my Sunday sleeping(soundly in beds with toilets really near by(sorry Ani attack))...instead, i got a call from Tony, that Ed was 'sick' and not going to work. Instead we(me included apparently) were heading to Knotts for the day. FUN!!! midway throughthe day there were decided that since we were already in Buena Park/Anaheim, we might as well go to Midevil Times!!! Woohoo!!! It was my first time to knotts in years, and my first time ever to Times. It was great, minus the horrible allergy attack I had. Next time, remind me I'm allergic to the horses and dust! =)
